I may have missed it in the thread, but has anyone in Canada gotten their hands on these yet? If so, how bad was the pricing?

I got mine for $520.70 pretax here in SA.

I haven't finished the build as I cross threaded this, like 1/4 of an inch(part number 90119-A0443). Nvm, was able to fix it.

Nice... I'm going to install later today. Did you have to make any cuts or did everything good without cutting?

No cutting at all but make sure you place alot of painter's tape around the inner edges of that new front bumper valance replacement as seen in the picture i previously posted.

    Steps I did with installation.
    1. Remove old valance cover.
    2. Remove old front mount brackets and old stabilizer bar brackets.
    3. Install new front mount brackets.(#3 and #4 in the installation picture using #9 flange bolt) Make sure it is torqued to specs.
    4. Partially place the new stabilizer brackets with one loose #11 bolt at the posterior end of it with no washer)
    5. Replace new valance cover and make sure to place painter's tape at the edges and where you deemed it's needed.
    6. Align and pass through the recovery hooks through new valance cover holes. It is a very tight fit, that the plastic may stretch while pushing through it. Be careful!
    7. Place the new #11 bolts with #12 washers now on your #5 and #6 recovery hooks and torque to specs.

You're welcome. Additional info, I didn't remove the skid plate cover, supported the front sway bar with jack stands on each side with towels to protect from scratches.

Too bad there’s not a class action lawsuit on tow hooks not included on a $74K truck. Just like they did a lawsuit on the trucks not having a trans cooler. Peace. D

Thank you for the comparison to the front license plate. Question: Does the new valance cover stick out more than the original one? I ask because I already have only about an inch of clearance between the struts on my garage door and the front license plate, so if the new valance cover makes the license plate stick out farther out it's a no-go for me.

    Thank you again!

this was well documented , I’m saying I agree or like it but here it is…

the lawyers overrode the engineers and they were citing crash and pedestrian testing

the engineers have now won at least to the point you can get them after the fact , my guess when they do refresh at least some models will have them

this changed when the taco was redesigned

no damages , no class action

besides lawyers get rich and you get .03 cents ten years from now

much better off if you want super robust tow hooks for off roading, just shell the 500 and get them and move on with life

they did put out a beast of a set at least !! Best tow hooks on any tundra ever by far as far as oem and I’ve owned them all

Got it done. Followed lavey's instructions and it worked out perfect. Just had to lose the fear of damaging a new truck and did it.

Wondering is it up to you where to put the license plate or are there markings on the bumper?

How do you remove the old valance without taking off the whole front end?

Access to remove panel from under the truck is the easiest. No spoiler on the pro was a bonus

Ok. Thank you. The spoiler might be coming off anyway. Just leave the motor hooked up to keep it from throwing a code.

I installed mine over the weekend. The passenger side seems to be a little lower than the drivers side. I used the same number of washers on both side. Has anyone else run into having to use more washers on one side to even them out? I know the instructions say they give you several to account for variances in individual vehicles, but I figured it would still be same on either side. It's not off by a lot, just enough to bother me.
