Looking at getting a set of the Rokblokz mudflaps to replace my OEM mud flaps for better protection.
    https://rokblokz.com/products/toyota-tundra-mud-flaps-mud-guards-08-14

but they warn that they are not compatible with side exhaust on TRD off road models.

    DOESN'T FIT:
This kit does NOT currently work with the OEM side-exit exhaust on the TRD Pro, TRD Off-Road, and TRD Off-Road Premium”

I didn’t think it was a different exhaust. Anyone have a 2.5 gen with TRD off road and run these ?

I've had them on my Pro for a few years now without issue. I have some recollection that the story was the material was melting/warping due to proximity to the exhaust tip, but the material has since changed and website was never updated. Regardless, they've been fine on mine. I would not do the XL version unless you're running a really aggressive offset.

They do work well for being micro’s but the regular size ark would work much better. For me I don’t see much mud so the micro’s work

My issue is I work at a power plant. So the road in and out usually has fly ash or gypsum or something on it and when it rains I get shit up half the side of the truck. Stock wheels and stock size tires. I’ll try and get a picture up

Arks definitely won’t melt and more coverage than factory muds

So small update. I got my ARK mudflaps in and here is a comparison to the OEM TRD off road mudflaps.
Hopefully the weather will cooperate in next day or 3 and I can get them installed

Install was pretty easy, honestly hardest part was installing the threaded bolts into the plastic clips that didn't previously have something threaded into them. The threaded screws you remove that held the factory mud guards in were a coarse pitch and installing into those holes was easy. These are taller and use a couple more mounting points, but the screws that came with the kit are fine threaded. I wound up inserting and removing the factory screws a couple of times in each of the mounting plugs to make a hole for the new screws to mount.

Additionally mounting the front mudflap was much easier if you remove the front tire since you need to drill 2 5/16" holes in the plastic wheel liner
