    I debated 17 vs 18 too but went with 18s to avoid any tight clearance issues, plus it snows here and ice can build up in there. I just put on method 316 18x9 +18 with 35x11.5 Wildpeaks but I do have TRD lift. Removed bracket in rear of front wheel wells but it rubbed the front liner too. Used big zip ties around the front plastic bracket behind the liner to the front bumper then heated the plastic up with heat gun before tightening zip ties to pull the liner forward maybe an inch. Installed EGR painted flares that added maybe 3/4 - 1" to eat up some poke, top of the tread is about flush with the new flares.

    Opinions based on what I've seen/read here:
    1) You're going to have a tough time at stock height with a 35" tire.
    2) Both 17" and 18" same width rim? +25 offset= slight poke, maybe a little more than slight depending on your definition. +18 = 1/4"+ more poke than that.

    I'm going 18X9 +12 offset with a 285/75/18 (a skinny 35) and it will poke a fair amount. I'll be adding aftermarket (EGR or RC) flares for more coverage.

    If you can wade through the monster thread on 3rd gen wheels and tires, you'll likely find both your combos there with pictures.

    that's probably the main issue right now, they also have a 285/75/17 as well as a 285/70/18 which might work better for me, basically the same size 275/65/20 I'm currently running on stock weels, just a little wider but smaller offset wheels should take care of any issues. Both C rated 6 play since I was trying to avoid a E 10 ply to keep things more comfortable to ride. I might have to keep it 34ish to avoid major problems or rubbing

    Is anyone else finding that when you select a positive offset when selecting the rim you get a “Does Not Fit This Vehicle” message? The only offset it says that fits is zero. WTF

    Shit like that makes scavenging for accurate information that more frustrating. If the stock rim on a 2025 Tundra is a +60 how can a +25 not fit? Just shoot me already

    A wider wheel will need more offset to clear the suspension components and frame when turning. If you’re looking for 10-12” wide rims, factory offset probably ain’t gonna work.

    Rolling the ‘25 Limited TRD OR and planning to install the Fox 2.5 Performance Elite shock package with Camburg UCA in the next month or so. I’m practically going blind reading up on wheel and tire packages and have settled on the Falken AT4W in a 35x11.5x17 (11.9” wide).

    I really like the Method 703 wheels but they come with a +35mm offset and wonder if that may cause some rubbing on the inside. It seems like this setup would really minimize the poke and look clean and be functional.

    Is anyone running this setup or familiar enough with it to comment on how it will fit, look, and function with what I plan to install.

    My setup is very similar...

    '25 Limited TRD OR with Eibach Stage 2 (leveled).
    305/70-18 Nitto Recon Grappler - measures 34.85 X 12.25 per the Nitto site. I went this way to get the D load range in lieu of E.
    18X9 +30 KMC IMS wheels

    I have removed the bolted in fender liner block at the rear inner of the front fender liner as well as the mud flap and pinned the liner back.

    I get a very slight rub on the inside at the rear of the fronts at full lock in reverse only.

    Hey, thanks for the reply comments and yes they should be very similar. I must say I’m disappointed to hear about the rub and need to remove those items. I was really hoping the offset and lift would eliminate carving crap out but it sounds like any time you go over an 11.5” tire it’s a challenge.
