    Well today finally got here. Lol. Got over to my mechanic early this morning and got the new suspension on. Eibach stage 2r. also installed dirt king ucas. Got an alignment done and instant enjoyment. My
    Mechanic came back and was saying how much he like it and how much better it was than stock.

    I went in with a take it or leave it as to changing the lift on the fronts. We talked about it for a bit and I just said to leave it as it comes. I have a Prinsu roof rack and ARE topper with rails on top. I have to carry 16 and 20 ft lumber to some of my sites when my crews need it. It’s already kinda tall for me so leaving it at a 2 inch lift is fine. Wife also voiced her appreciation not to lift it more than 2 inches.
    The ride:
    I immediately noticed a big difference between 120k stock and this set up. Nose dive is gone, sway is gone and it just soaks up bumps very nicely. Not as stiff as my dobinson ims on my Jeep grand Cherokee but I kinda prefer the Eibach. The Jeep is my wife’s and she likes the way the dobinson ims suspension is on the Jeep. Stiff. I know I know, that’s what she said .
    But I also had bilstien and ome springs and struts on another vehicle and prefer the Eibach stage 2r.
    That being said, all of these suspension upgrades were all nice and rode great. None were heads and shoulders better than the other. But I will not hesitate to put the Eibach on other vehicles I have in the future.
    Also installed dirt king ucas. What can you say? The guys said it was very easy to do the alignment and they seemed to be a great quality uca.
    also installed the carrier bearings.
    I know the uca and carrier bearing are not necessarily needed but it made the alignment a lot easier. That’s a win.

    I had the RAS HD installed about 5 months ago or so. That made a huge difference. That alone stiffened up a lot of the body roll and took out all the bounce in the rear. It also got rid of the porpoise effect from the rear. So it made the rear solid and predictable but it also made me realize how soft and bouncy the front had become.
    Again, I have 125xxx on the stock suspension so it was time but I bought the truck with 30xxx miles and I never really liked the stock suspension. I have the limited and it was ok but not near as good as now.

    Last question...but no promises. With the RAS and front set at the out-of-the box 2" are you sitting level now or still have a rake?

    About .5 inch rake. So small you can’t tell. We had to get a tape measure out to verify. I also set the ras using the white spacer.

    but I almost went up to 2.5 inches in the front but all I would have had to do to level it get a slick take back was adjust the rad using the black spacer.

    but really it looks dead level but it takes a pretty good load to make the back drop at all. I have a 6x12 enclosed trailer and loaded down pretty good doesn’t really make the back drop like it did without the ras.

    ask as many questions as you like that’s why we are all here. I did as well to the others and they really helped me make decisions that I have not regretted. This thread helped me get out of analysis paralysis.

    Loaded question since the RAS HD is adjustable so you can scale the rear lift some by compressing the spring more. Setting the RAS for light load, you should be getting about 1" lift in the rear but this also depends on your set up (do you have a lot in the back already, are you leafs sagging or still holding their arch before adding the RAS). But in general you should still have rake going with a 2" front lift and adding the RAS to the rear.

    I'm another RAS user and absolutely love it, its a great product and really improves the ride of the Tundra while adding capacity.

    very true there are a lot of variables. However, because of these variables thats why I went with this set up. I can adjust the struts in the front to my liking AND I have some adjustment in the rear to do likewise. Also able to adjust if the tundra lean showes up of if you make changes such as a bed topper, tent, tool chest etc. You can set it to have rake or be dead level. RobertD is absolutely right.

    First post on the Forum, and of course it's about suspension, lol.

    Thanks for the above info. I just purchased my first "big boy" truck, a '21 Tundra SR5 I found with Gold Certified warranty. Has the predator trim package (non-offroad).

    I live in Colorado, this will be a daily driver in the Denver Metro area but will see off-road use on weekends for hunting, shooting and some 4x4 trails. Will likely tow trailers occassionally. Might even take it to MOAB and do some of the passes here in CO with it.

    Coming from a '05 4-runner with Bilstein 5100 lift.

    I'm leaning towards the eibachs for about a 2.5" lift on front/1" on back but have looked at Bilstein 6200's front/5100 rear, Foam Cell and others.

    Any recommendations are appreciated!

    I would like good on-road handling since that's 90% of my driving. I have a fiberglass topper on it now and plan to put it on 35" All-Terrains once I get a lift for clearence and will likely add a fridge, sleeping platform/drawer system, rock sliders and MAYBE a front/rear bumper and winch (bumpers won't happen for a while).

    Hoping this doesn't hi-jack the thread, I can start my own if it's better.

    For me to be honest. I am thinking about switch back to stock. The ride is really not comfy for daily. Its great off road but thats like only for .001% of the time...lol

    I think Im getting ready to start a house build in Catawba Falls so we’ll be in black mountain regularly. I’ll keep an eye out.

    I am considering going back and having my mechanic raise this up to 2.5 inches. Going to let this continue to settle for a bit though.

    I need to replace some of the worn out components with my Tundra's suspension, and research on here led me to this thread. Based on this thread, I contacted memario1214, and he got me hooked up with a similar setup to the OP's. Yesterday, I pulled the trigger on a set of Eibach Stage 2R's and a pair of Dirt King Gen 2 UCA's (Dirt King has since phased out the model that the OP purchased, so I went with the model that memario1214 recommended). I'm excited to get those parts in and installed.

    And memario1214 was wonderful to work with, and his exemplary customer service has ensured that I'll remain a loyal customer of Hotshot Offroad.

    Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 suspension, HD RAS, 285/75-18 Nokian Outpost AT, LoPro bed cover, TRD rear sway bar, DD 10 inch exhaust, and various other goodies
    You can fit 285/75-18 on stock offset wheels with it as it is set up out of the box.

    For rear lift, I suggest RAS.....it compliments the spring rate of the Eibach coilovers and will lift 1-1/.5 inches depending the tension. RAS does not degrade the ride like a block or aal will and it helps support the weak rear lefts, so less sag when loaded or towing. Cost is good and install is DIY.

    You can fit 285/70-18 tires with stock offset wheels without any lift.

    Can somebody with the Eibach 2.0 R rear shocks show me what they have going on for the bushing situation? I know you’re supposed to use your old bushings but when I pulled my stock shocks off there was not a washer on the bottom side which just doesn’t seem right. Any help is appreciated.

    Has anyone used these in a setting under 2.5"? My Tundra needs new suspension and is currently lifted 2" in front, 1.5" in rear with Bilstein 6112's. The setup is incredibly rough probably because of the age. Looking for less height and better ride quality.

    We've set multiple Eibach kits up at 2" and below with good success. They actually come shipped at 2" :thumbsup:

    I plan on installing my Eibach Stage 2R set this weekend. I am planning on 1.5" in front. I'll be happy to report back on post-install ride quality, however, it may not be valuable feedback for you. My current shocks are stock (with no lift at all on the truck), and they are worn out. The ride is awful. Anything would be an improvement at this point. I've never had 6112's, so I can't offer a ride comparison there.

    Nice write up. Info provided is good to know, and finally pushed me to order the same Eibach setup. Should pair up nicely with SPC UCAs I have sitting in the garage, right next to CB +2 and +3 shackles.

    I installed my Eibach Stage 2R's and Dirt King UCA's this past weekend. I'll post pics and my assessment after I get my alignment finished. I took my truck to my tire shop for the alignment, and it turned into a bit of a circus.

    I got there right after they opened, and since they didn't have anything booked, they rolled me in. They couldn't get the lock nut off of the tie rod to adjust it, so they were going to replace it. Part house sends the wrong part. Number on the box was correct, but the part was wrong. Once they got that sorted out, the mechanic assigned didn't have the right tool to fit the new tie rod. SnapOn guy was supposed to have one onsite in 15-20 minutes. An hour later, they get the tool tracked down and delivered, and it's the wrong tool. So the shop got it as close as they could (which is still noticeably out of alignment), and they said they'd call me when the right tool was onsite and confirmed to fit the replacement tie rod. So I drove it home. If I don't get a call in the morning, I'm taking it somewhere else.

    But as soon as I get the alignment squared away, I'll post a fair assessment.

    I got my Eibach Stage 2R's and Dirt King 2nd Gen UCA's installed as well as getting the alignment done (that required me going to 2 different shops to get done. My nearby shop that I've traded with for a couple of years lost a customer in me for how they handled this. Not acceptable for a shop that claims to specialize in lifts).

    I did the shock and UCA installs myself, and it was my first time doing that kind of job. Learned a lot, but it went well, I thought.

    Before install, the distance between the top of my rear tire and the fender well was 8". After install, it is 8.5". (I could compress the rear shocks holding them in my hands and pressing my hands inward. They were that bad). Before install, the top of the front tires were 5" from the fender well. They are now at 7". So I still have about 1.5" of rake, and that suits me fine.

    The Eiback coilovers came set at 2.5". I backed them down .5" (every full turn on the collar will adjust the height by 1/8").

    I drive about 60% of the time on city streets, highways, and toll ways. The other 40% is on rural backroads, some of which are in poor condition, as well as unpaved/groomed roads, and some two track trails. I work in the city, but I live in the country (I office from home, but my clients are all in the city, so I travel into the city several times a week for onsite meetings. I avoid highways and toll roads where I can, opting for backroads as often as possible). I don't do overlanding, and I likely would not attempt anything beyond Green rated offroad trails. (Maybe a lite Blue rated, but it would only be at the lower end of that range. I didn't set my truck up for that sort of use).

    My previous setup appeared to be the stock OEM black shocks and UCA's. I have no idea if those had been changed prior to me purchasing the truck. (Bought it in 2019 with 114k on it. It's currently at 185k). But they were way past worn out when I installed the new components last week.

    Driving. Just wow. Like a whole new world. Much, much smoother on paved roads. Handling is much more stable. As others have stated, it feels much more planted. Bumps, expansion joints, and the like are all but non-existent. Railroad tracks are much more subdued. Paved roads that are in poor repair/condition (of which I travel frequently) and unpaved roads are much more pleasant and manageable. I haven't had it down any two-track trails yet, but I have no reason to believe that the performance and ride will be any different than the other pavement that I travel, taking into account that rougher surfaces will be..... rougher than smooth, groomed surfaces.

    And as I stated before, the handling is soooo much better. I haven't towed with this setup yet, but I don't tow but a few times a year, and nothing regularly like a travel trailer.

    To be clear, it's not like riding in a Cadillac hovercraft. It's a pickup truck. But it is such an improved ride and driving experience compared to what I was riding on. I wanted effectively a hybrid setup that was good on road and offroad, but specialized/dedicated for neither. I feel like I got exactly that. I am very happy with this setup, and I'm satisfied with my purchase. (Another shout out to @memario1214 at Hotshot Offroad).

    In a few weeks when my annual bonus hits, I'll be getting new wheels (Fuel Coverts w/20 offset). I'll be keeping these same tires as I have been pleased with their performance and wear thus far.

    Now if Eibach would only make a resi rear shock for the Sequoia I would pair them with my Stage 2 fronts. Ride is super nice with the 5100's I have on the rear though.

    if you want to save yourself a ton of time and energy just call them. Colton will ask a few questions to get an idea of what you’re trying to do and he will give you an option or two. Then buy it and enjoy. I spent way to much time on this forum and wound up getting to much information and conflicting information at that with opinions involved and couldn’t make a decision. Called Colton and we discussed things for a bit and he said I would be very happy with the Eibach 2rr set up with dirt kings and he was exactly right. Love the ride and it’s perfect for what I do.
    Do yourself a favor and just call Colton. It’s a small business but he is awesome to deal with. Will be my next call when I need something in the future.

    Im looking to pick up the Eibach stage 2R kit here soon for my 2021 crewman. Im not only looking to do 1.5-2 inches of lift in the front so my question is, how necessary are aftermarket upper control arms? Being within alignment specs is the goals.
