The cavalry blue is the best color the tundra has ever come out with in my opinion. I had the opportunity to get that or the cement and I thought “nobody will have the cement color” when I purchased it. A year later it’s probably the most common color I see…..and I get jealous EVERY time I see a cavalry blue.:):fistbump:

Do you happen to know how they prepped the chrome? Sanded it down? Special primer? I've always heard this was a no-no to do so, but clearly yours has held up.

if I rember I think they acid dip it but you can call him and ask he’s super cool, I don’t have that rig anymore but my buddy still has his and he got his painted by them shortly after me and it’s still not chipping or any issues and he does lifetime warranty the paint

Awesome looking Rig! I may be biased towards SSM but I think you made a great purchase. If you plan to do mods/upgrades like suspension/wheels having a pro doesn't provide any real advantage over other trims IMO other than the cool badging. You're a long ways from Colorado but I'd buy that topper off of you in a heartbeat. I've been looking for a snugtop in SSM for several months.

Thanks man! Ya I've called a few local Snugtop retailers & they said they will buy if off me. Previous owner told me he paid over $2k so no idea what they would offer? It's heavy as hell & was craned on he told me. So a private party sale would be sketchy to transfer. ship it out to u

Two people can lift that shell no problem. I've done it multiple times on multiple different vehicles.

@TundieJundies, I have no idea how one would go about shipping a topper. Let's meet up halfway? :muscleflexing: I got cash :fistbump: you can use it towards your colormatch project!

Tundiejunkie you’re in riverslime right? I used fuller camper in Riverside they’re customer service is great they probably help you transfer it over to a new buyer and seal their bed for them too they’re right there off Madison next to the Toyota stealership

but honestly it’s not that bad transferring it over with just one other guy I mean it’s a heavy bitch so the more people the better but ive done it a few times with just another person

Your truck is sexy! I laugh at the fact your cold air intake is California compliant. I effing hate Commiefornia! LOL. Your truck is definitely nice. I run a Stillin Cold Air Intake and definitely love the extra sound it gives me at start up and overall. I definitely noticed an edge in MPG with it and a little extra umph with horse power. Definitely a must for all I think. Thanks for posting! Solid 10/10 for me!

Nice truck!!! only thing you need is the super charger!
I highly recommend! The set up might lead to the big brake kit too and additional investment but I’m super happy with the full set up.
    Good Luck and congratulations!

Make sure the red cable does not lay, touch, or interfere in other ways with other metal parts directly. Wrap it in wire loom. Route directly, cut to appropriate length, so it does not rub grounded parts.

Here's a better pic. This is how I bought the truck. Precious owner upgraded the sound system. Wire looming is this the stuff? Just wrap it around all the red cable parts? Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!

    None at this point.
Yeah...to paint chrome you need to sand blast the part first so the paint will stick.
