I ended up doing the whole door frame. As the dealership did sections, but it didn't help.

Just ordered, thank you! Just remove the top strip, apply and reinstall top strip?

Regrettably, sound returned after it got cold and wet. I will remove it and apply only the silicone grease to determine if that provides improvement.

A recall is for a safety. A Technical Service Bulletin or a Special Field Notice would be a better describer, but then you will have to pay for it.

I’m supposed to pick up my truck after having the seals replaced on the driver and passenger doors tomorrow, so should be able to let everyone know if that makes a difference.

Picked it up two days ago, noise is very much still there. They replaced the rubber seal around the door, not the piece by the window which is what I feel it is. With that said, I read and read and read and the ones who had that part replaced also did not fix it. What seems to have is putting something inside this space, foam, thicker felt, or even a drying powder as it seems to happen from the seal touching the paint. I have not tried that but plan to today.

From the FB group powder works but the fix is the space above the door seal that touches the frame side and makes the noise. I ordered felt tape today, will be here tomorrow and will advise if it works. I hate the idea of powdering my door weekly lol.

So I had a very faint wind noise plus what sounded like a window 'shaking' in the frame (it was not physically moving) at highway speeds. Reported those concerns during my 5k visit and ended up with .. new glass run (part 68151-0C050; #2 in the image below)

    Screenshot 2025-02-11 at 1.30.49 PM.png
Just had it installed but the rubber is so new / deformed that it's not even sticking to the glass correctly. On a way home from the dealership, I could most certainly hear wind "gusts" even at speeds closer to 30 - 40 mph. I hope it molds back to the proper shape 'cause if not, I will have to go back...

    NEW RUN (driver's side):

    OLD RUN (passenger's side):
