Hi PNW_Rockwarrior, I am currently going through the same issue with my tundra. I currently have the (86120-YY211) model OEM radio with GPS and non JBL system. I ordered a dasiata head unit and cannot get the reverse camera to work. Do you know what wires (color) you tapped into for the steering wheel control. Any photos of the harness completed? If you have any further information I would greatly appreciate that.

    Welcome to the forum.
    What year is your truck?

Wiring diagrams can be found here if you know how to read them.
If not, post your year model and I'll see if I can find it..

I’m not too familiar with wiring diagrams but I have a 2013 tundra rock warrior. Double cab. Has the same OEM stereo you had in yours.

These are the wires to the steering wheel controls.

    Pin 7 - lime green wire SW1
Pin 6 - brown wire SWG
    Pin 8 - grey wire SW2

If your Tundra has navigation, it is the K21 connector pins 6,7,8

If it does not, connector K3 pins 6,7,8

Although the connectors look the same..

Hey man hows it going. So the harness should've come with a steering wheel female plug... it should of came with 2, plug it into which ever one fits. I had to manually tap into the camera lines my self (which on the car harness side the steering wheel plug and camera wires are together)

*edit* now that i see you have the same exact head unit as me please re-read the whole thread. We were pretty clear on what i had an issue with. you will have to cut the truck harness 4 wires and splice into the Dasaita unit (remember to plug in the camera accessory harness onto the head unit)
