Live in ATL Ga. One dealership's online parts ordering site said it was not a valid part number. Called their parts department, they said they could get it but would be at full price, said that I had to on-line order myself for the discount. Second dealership's online parts ordering had it, just under $503 with discount plus tax and shipping. Arrived second business day having been shipped point to point within ATL for $27. Part shipping weight was claimed to be 57 pounds. No local pickup option that I could see. There was a place to put in your zip code for shipping estimate before making payment. This was with World Toyota in Atlanta Ga, did not have to create an account to order. https://www.worldtoyota.com/ Hope to install over the weekend. If I do will report back any issues I have that have not already been mentioned.

Got my replacement bolts in finally. Anyone have pictures from what they cut on the front piece since there’s no template included?

No pics, I should have. But check post #128. If you hold up the new fascia to the grill, it will be pretty clear what you need to trim.

About to start my install today. Not planning on removing grill-just the fascia as noted in previous posts. Plan on using jack to support sway bar-any issues that I should be aware of or recommendations here? Guess that is my only area of concern. Thanks.

Completed the install yesterday with no major issues. The only issue that I know of is my retractable spoiler will not go up and, I assume, lock into stowed position. Just noticed this morning. I will have to get up under there and take a look to see if there is some interference due to new install. It does try though. I did trim as noted on the instructions based on what I saw and when I put everything back together I didn't see anything but I didn't take a hard look since it retracted properly. Will look again today.

    Notes from install:
-Didn't take front clip off and just did the front fascia. This took me some time since the two corner pieces of the mustache have to be loosened. Guess, for me, it would have been about the same amount of time either way. All in all I am glad I did this way. Once that piece is off the install is not bad at all.
-Trimming the lower front area and retractable spoiler pretty easy using Dremel. As others have noted you can see where to trim for front area by placing the new fascia up there. Spoiler trim was based on instruction pic. Sure would have been nice to have template but......
-If you have after market skid plates (I have Talon) you need to make sure they will clear the new hardware. Mine clears just barely.
-Very robust in my opinion and looks great.
-Shackles are definitely heavy duty (huge) and will keep in truck BUT will get others like some have said.

Stop Sale? Hmmm, interesting. We have yet to hear how they hold up actually being used the pull a 3G Tundra out of a mud bog at an angle?

I am nervous to install these entirely based on warranty related stuff. If something did happen, I feel like that might give you an "out" if something was damaged and you installed they may deny if something was damaged. I know the install is fairly easy.

I can't see this happening only because it's a Toyota developed part. They could say that you installed it incorrectly but at that point if you're that concerned video the install or have Toyota install it.

It's OEM and the only thing I you can really screw up is the fascia and any torque requirements.

I installed my kit this week. Other than issues related to being a bit older and having a sedentary job it was not bad. You need to use a torque wrench. Note that the instructions show torque in NM not foot pounds so conversion is necessary. I have a 2024 Platinum so have the automatic air dam.

I did not remove the front clip, just the fascia. The bumper trim on the left and right of the fascia piece overlaps the fascia. I released the bottom tabs and two up the sides and tipped the side trim forward (did not take off) so the fascia was not trapped under the trim.

These are observations RE the process I followed, not instructions on how to do the install. There is no guarantee these observations are accurate or properly expressed. Any use of these observations is done at your own risk.

Sort of in order but not completely.

When removing the facia if you have trouble reaching the top clips to release them if you disconnect the bottom of the facia it is flexible enough to pull it out, put your arm in between it and the support it was clipped to. Plenty of access.

I did not remove the air dam. Should have. Was able to do it but had to put the air dam up and down multiple times. It looks like there are only six nuts to remove in order to take it off. Did not have the instructions for this but that is what it looks like. To get the air dam to tip down so you can get to the front bolts on the skid plate and the outside edge nuts on air dam turn the truck on, turn it off and push the wiper stalk up for two seconds. Air dam will deploy. To get it back up start the truck, put in drive and it will go up. Put in part and turn the truck off after this step.

I did use ramps but think could have done it without. The jack to hold the sway bar up is needed. It will not fall down but will make it difficult/impossible to get the sway bar brackets back on.

When cutting out for the fascia I held up the new fascia piece to the opening, marked the width where the cut is necessary and used a multi tool to remove 1 3/8 inch of material between the marks. Worked for me.

I did not put the front facia on until after I replaced the bracket that goes between the front frame rail and the cross bumper support. Makes access to those bolts easier.

Did not have to cut my air dam. Once installed one side did not touch at all and the other not enough to matter.

If any of this does not match you experience or you have questions feel free to reply/ask.

Is your trd skid plate still installed or did you have to remove it for this kit?

Skid place can remain in place and doesn't need to be removed to install the kit.

I was trying to order a set but the Toyota website warned me that it may not fit my truck. Is there something with the kit that will prevent me from installing on a 22 TRD off-road crewmax?

understanding is that it's not compatible with 3" lifts...other than that...it should be fine. try ordering in person... u can get a quick refund if it doesn't work out.

I love wrenching but even with my heating garage its small so it would be hard to do this at this time of year.

If I were doing these and the dealer would do it for that and just be done with it, with parts and labor warranty I would like go that route.

those sure are some tow hooks though, damn, now we have better tow hooks than the gen 2 guys after all that bitching and poking fun, HA:p:D

man, at least you got a heated garage. I’m out in the open on a pea gravel driveway. Trying to use a jack there is more dicey than a scissor jack on the side of a highway lol.

I’m foreshadowing that Toyota will put these on certain 2026 models. Should’ve done it from the start, but oh well!!
