Alright finally have my damn truck back. Good news is the Motive gear and pinion gear, LSD were found to be in good condition and not the cause of my loud ass whine/rumble. The Carrier bearing and U joints on the other hand were shot. Now i can finally get some damn miles on the gears and lsd:facepalm:

Yup! But you better go now if you're trying to get anything that's left. I was told in Dec that they should be closing the stores by February. And I just read last week that they are now starting to sell off entire brick n mortor stores to interested parties. To use the remaining stock and store for whatever purpose they want.

I got over $1600 in parts for less than $200.

No blow out. For me I just did some testing down to .021 to see what was going on with misfires I had. Using the denso I kept getting a wider gap on cylinder 7 and 2. Don't know why so I just gapped down a tad for prevention. Next inspection I'll try gapping up to .034 to see if the Lexus(8arfts) coils handle it.

Back to running poorly, checked the wires as best I could and added a ground to the valve cover on the driver's side. Sent another log to Sniv, should bring it back but now I'm beat, I'll bring it back tomorrow.

Looks like those U joints didn’t have the grease zerks? And did your carrier bearing have excessive play?

My 07 has them and still going. I did replace the center when I had the drive shaft shortened for awd.

That really sucks! The only thing that sticks out to me is a harness issue. It's the one thing that can get mucked up during a swap.

No zerks, some of the bearings were burnt and Carrier bearing had play.

Here's something keeping me up. If they put the original ECU back, will it still be associated with all my keys or do they have to be paired again?

If it wasn't altered it should still be paired as nothing changed.

It was working, I just pulled it out & installed the new one. I'm dropping it at 9, telling them it's time to figure it out & fix it as my patience is thin. Also telling them I need a loaner or for them to pay for a rental.

Hey everyone, Johnny from Cruisers and Company wanted to know where the discussions about the Aussie is valve bodies is happening. I'm tagging him in here since this is where it all started. I'm hoping he'll chime in.

He's going to add the Extreme to his website along with the current Nomad listing.

I had a guy email me this morning who has a Whipple and was asking about them. I think we'll end up doing an order of like 3x Whipple specific throttle bodies that are really big bore and eliminate the spacers.

Doesn't the Whipple use the same bolt pattern as the GM TB, or is it different? If it's the same, I'm interested for my snout swap...getting closer to making that happen.

As I recall it's different, that's why Rey has to run a spacer even though he's running a LS3 style TB. The whipple pattern doesn't seem to match anything for the best I can tell.

Could always do a one off for you too.

One-off sounds good, the D2A adapter has been working well for me, but would prefer stock electronics. How big were you going with these?

These ones are a bit over 94mm. The Whipple as I recall could get pushed to like 101mm.

Same no issues with the adapter here but I do notice that unit does get crazy hot. I'd much rather have stock electronics and @snivilous pops and I would buy 2 to have one as backup in the rigs for our remote runs. Whipple is 102mm inlet

I can do anything you want :D

If you can tell me the bolt pattern and bolt size I can see what the largest diameter without playing games is. That's what set the bore for these ones, I took the Tundra bolt pattern, drew a circle for the bolt heads, added like .030" of wall material, and that's where the bore came out to be.
