If you wiggle the wiring harness on the passenger valve cover does it make a difference? The TB and MAF wiring all runs through that bundle...might be worth checking continuity/resistance on those wires.

Were you having issues with the spark blowing out? What gap were you at and what are you running now?

Jiggled while running, no change, apparently it is dumping fuel & thinks it is floored plumes of unburnt gas smoke are poring from the exhaust. :(

    They are yours!

I was wanting to say bad fuel pump but if it's dumping tons of fuel, I've no idea ...fingers crossed you find something!

Did they use your harness or the one that may have been on the engine? Ffv vs non?
Just trying to think of the differences..

    Too many mods to come

No issues with spark blowout but knowing more boost and heat during certain runs I do made sense. Followed this same process from the old blower days. Think install kits called for .032 and I went to .025-.028.

Are you just running OEM Lexus coil packs from a 5.7 Application? Also, what is different about the Lexus units? I've seen the RIPP units, but had not heard about advantage of running Lexus Branded coil packs

Ripp units are junk don't run those. Jowett mentioned these are from a boosted Lexus 8AR-FTS applications but better spark. Noticed an overall feel difference smoother pulls etc. The coils fit nicely and oem units are always better than the aftermarket coil packs. Aftermarket units seem to have issues across the board in many applications.

They used my harness, fuel pressure was over 70lbs, I throttled it back to 55/3/6/etc.

I erased the memory relearned now there are 3 pages of codes.

I have an ECM if needed but that makes no sense & I don't want the flex back in there

Make sure they grounded your cylinder head to the wheel well, it's a single wire not in the harness and might have been forgotten...just a wild ass guess...

Why no on the flex? Is it really worth this hassle if that'll fix it?

I've been reading as I too have a bunch of codes and no properly running TPS...some on other forums suggested replacing the Pedal harness...that's the next thing I'm working towards, too...I see no mouse damage and this happened to me 3-4 weeks ago just driving home from work...I hope it can be figured out for the both of us!!

Shop called, said the ecu connector was loose (no idea how that is possible) said it's running fine & they are driving it.

Called again, said it drove great & idled for 30 minutes, drove fine again.

Does cooling off causing issues make sense? It's 2x driven home fine & been "broken" overnight when it's sub 40 degrees both times

In another thread someone had an ECU (which I think got replaced) that didn’t work right until the cab/glove box area was warmed up, which doesn’t make sense.

Bad solder joints being fickle with temperature? Sheesh...this might become a rabbit hole for me!!

I recall reading through that. That could be indicative of a cold solder? I've heard of guys popping circuit boards in the oven at 250 degrees for a while to try and get the solder to flow back; I have no idea if it would work on the ECU, or if it would even be prudent... but it is a possibility that temperature would influence the circuit working or not.
