Oh, Ok. This sounds like the Maint reset on my other Toyota's ('07 Tundra & '13 RAV4) for when I've changed the oil/filter. I assume it does a recalibration of the fuel gauge as well?

    Thanks for the info!

I have a '25 Platinum TRD OR w/ about the exact same mileage and plan to do the oil change @ 1k as well. I think I recall that Toyota recommends NOT towing before 500 miles, but I'm going to push that out as long as I can as well.

    NO issues whatsoever so far.

My driver side folding mirror is glitching and not folding/opening all the way. Have an appointment next week to get it looked at.

Almost 3k on my 25 limited. Bought it in the middle of November. No issues to speak of yet. I changed the oil at 1k, then again before a long trip back home. Runs terrific. My turning radius is not what I want with the lift, but it’s fine. I could spend 1k on different turn stops but the difference isn’t worth it. I chipped the paint on the door seal by knocking snow off my boots, haha. I’ll get some steps soon so that doesn’t happen anymore. Overall excellent

I am 1 week into the lease of a 2025 WCP Limited TRD OR; a change-over from a 2022 SR Limited TRD OR. Roughly 700km so far since I travelled roughly 4-hours to return and swap the 2022.

Hi level speaking, as most know, virtually the same units. Biggest noticeable upgrades from the 2022, the full digital display now along with the powered lift gate...both features I like. I guess there are a few others:
    • Black-out and removal of the chrome from the 22' to the 25'...once again, I like that, where some really like the chrome.
    • Interior head liner black instead of grey
    • Heated seats feel hotter than the 22's, not sure if they upgraded the elements or not but they are now at times almost too hot on level 3.
Overall, the 25' seems to have a better fit and finish then the 22' in terms of creaks and rattles. Then again, I was not particularly concerned with those things on my 22, probably because it was a lease. Looks like they also improved the weather stripping along the doors to address some of the creeks and wind noise as well.

As for issues, none so far, yet its only been less than 1,000km! Hopefully it stays that way.

What I was a bit surprised about was on my truck, they did not include the window trim seal clip [not sure what you call it...refer to the attached images], but it was on the truck in the showroom floor at the dealership [Model was a 2025 SR5]. Not a huge issue and it looks to be in a better condition than it did on the 2022.

Anyways, off and running on the 25' hopefully avoiding any sort of motor recall and replacement that was issued on my 2022!

I too thought it was just me and take some solace (sorry) knowing that I'm not the only one - It's not creaking or squeaking - definitely something loose - it moves around in the seatback. Trying to find the time to get it into the dealer -

I have this seat tapping. I found a thread (I think on here) about putting some felt tape on the rails that the lumbar support mechanism slides on, but I haven't taken my seat apart to try. I'm still under warranty, so I think I'll just schedule one appointment with my entire list of things to check.

2025 platinum non hybrid with 4000 miles and no issues other than the mpg isn't close to window sticker. Averaging 17mpg. Hopefully I'm not jinking myself. Gotta find some wood to knock on.

Update: Brought it to the dealer I purchased it from last week. They drove it for 40 miles over 3 days and weren't able to duplicate the tapping. On the third day I checked my Toyota app after dinner and saw my truck parked at a residential address!!!!! I immediately called the dealer and they were confused - they called back and confirmed that the technician took my truck home - without my permission!!! I had my neighbor drive me up that night with the spare FOB and I drove it home - same issue. I have a new appointment at another dealer - not bringing back to them! I'll keep this thread updated as it evolves.

2025 Tundra SR5 , crew max , Trd OR. 1000 miles. So far no major issues except for minor known complaints . (Worse factory remote start , poor airflow from upper front vents, antiquated 4x4 system). Also I find both Toyota dealers I’ve been to now , less than desirable.

I believe they have. my 2025 seems pretty quite to me. Funny thing is often when I swing the front door shut it rarely closes all the way and I really need to push it shut. I think they have definitely beefed up the gaskets / door seals.

I purchased a 1794, have about 300 miles on it. Love it, it's quiet, 19+ MPG, great looking and the only issues I've had are the ones that I've had to figure out regarding the features, no defects!

Solved! After taking the truck to a second dealer (the original dealer's technician drove my truck home for the night -deal breaker), they replaced the drivers seat back foam and the seat frame - including the components in the frame. I saw the parts that were removed and told them without a doubt it was the lumbar support frame - part # 72750D. For the record, nothing was broken - I believe it is just a manufacturing quality issue - the plastic piece. (lumbar support) hinges at the top and if that plastic is too thin - it will flap too easily and tap certain drivers in the back.

The dealer said that if this didn't fix the issue - Toyota would send out an engineer to learn why this was happening. So far so good.

Hopefully this helps others if you have the princess and the pea issue.

2025 MGM Limited TRD OR, 350 miles so far and bought last week. Day 2 of owning it, the rear tailgate wont go up via the key fog, handle or button in the cab. Nothing is blocking it and still clean but the two beeps that are occuring when i press it wont stop. Upon google search sounds like a variety of Toyota models have this which is upsetting. I'd rather just have a tailgate that goes up and down by hand...

Curious if either of you can elaborate on the build quality from your ‘22 to ‘25? I have been on the hunt and it’s about $15,000 CAD difference between a ‘22 and ‘25 in my area. Trying to figure out if the improvements are worth that much

We had snow in kentucky, covered the truck. Snow melted on top of the roof and fell between the cab and bed onto the drive shaft. Temperature dropped and ice accumulated on the drive shaft. Next morning the truck shook like hell on the way to work. Had to use a jet boil to melt the ice.

Bought a new 2025 Tundra TRD Rally off the showroom floor with 24 miles on it on Monday. It now has 85 miles. It broke down today (Thursday) and needed to be towed. At least the dealer gave me a free rental until it's fixed (even if it is a Rav4). Glad we got the 100,000 mile or 10 year warranty.

Keep us in the loop what the cause of the breakdown. It looks electrical and sensors causing the multiple issues?

I noticed today that there’s paint chips along the rear tailgate handle.. I did see a thread about this but nothing recent on the 25. I’ll take it in and see what they say.

The ECM needs to be replaced and I'll get the truck back on Monday (they ordered the part, so waiting on that).
