    Right, insane F-U money level.

dont bang your head on the door seal. The low door height & funky slushbox are my biggest complaints about the new tacos, but it doesnt take long to get the hang of manual mode.

That's exactly why I recommend the tune. They say it really makes the trucks drive-able lol.

00-02 have the metal bumper. Available in flat black, chrome or body color depending on year and trim.
03-06 have the plastic body colored bumper.
A/C and D/C bumpers are not compatible without modification.
The black piece on the hood is a hood deflector. Here is an example WeatherTech 50052 WeatherTech Easy-On Stone and Bug Deflectors | Summit Racing

This is the bumper that was on the truck when I bought it. It was a one owner trade in and I presume was purchased that way new. If you are referring to the bug shield, I purchased that online with the company that makes them. I cannot remember the name of them. I also traded this truck in a few years ago for a newer Tundra. It is my profile pic now.

    Where's the dislike button?

On another note, be careful displaying your shipping labels on the internet. We might all show up for dinner and then throw a mod party.

Those boxes are made for stacking on a palette, not for shipping. They have blocks of styrofoam that float all over the package in shipment when they should be glued in place.

Replaced the bulbs behind the HVAC controls. They were all out. I just went with cheapo white Sylvanias. If I like them, I may replace with LED, but to be honest, wasn't going to spend nigh on 40 bucks for the Zevo versions and then find I didn't like the color. I think the same cheap 194 bulbs can be used in other places too. And it takes about 2 minutes to remove the HVAC panel to replace these ones if they burn out (I got 10 bulbs).

New oil leak developed. Looks like it coming from around where the dipstick meets the block.

I had my valve cover gaskets done 20k miles (1 year and an half ago). I went to check if it was coming from above so I tightened all the 10mm bolts for the valve covers. All the bolts were loose with not much resistance to them. I know the torque spec is very low but they were almost finger tight. I’m gonna torque them down this weekend

Plastidip works well to adhere to chrome. You can then paint over the properly applied plastidip if you like. The finish isn’t glass smooth, but beats the chrome all day. Option two is extensive prep for the chrome. Cleaning, sanding, etching. Then etching primer, then coating of choice. Spoiler alert, it will still chip and peel at some point.

A mod party, mod meet, or mod day is when someone hosts a bunch of dudes from the internet for a day (sometimes a few days), for wrenching, drinking, fucking shit up, smoking, and feasting.
Mod meet: you meet people to modify one or more vehicles.
Where engineers crawl over mountains broken glass and a sea of virgins, to fuck mechanics, lubies, and greasers.

Ideally no one gets anything put in their butts. But the jury is still out on that one in a few states...
