Do you want to have it where both upper and lower are both parking and brake lights with the reverse becoming the amber turn signal?

Not necessarily, I thought something was wrong with mine, is that the factory orientation as I described?

I was in the same position as you last November when I bought my Tundra. I knew I wanted to update the back lights to match the front LED lights. I ordered https://www.vleds.com/2.5g-tundra-vt-v6-extreme-tail-light-conversion.html during their black Friday sale. Buy once, cry once. I have been more than happy with the results. I was concerned about the bottom red matching the top red in brightness since they're different bulb types. They match perfectly!

    But to answer your question..
Also, you may or may not need resistors to prevent hyperflashing with the LED turn signal bulbs.

    I like the VLED resistors.

Vleds for interior lighting, turn signals, brake lights, etc. DD is more for things like fog lights.
