My brother broke his coils similar on his pro. Replaced with eibach springs. Was no biggie. All the info you need is right here in this thread.

Not in Boston. On bad days you get 1/8" of salt covering the entire vehicle. Maybe more underneath.

Wife and I drive mostly our 20 y.o. Volvo in winter, because Toyota still makes baby steps in rust proofing. Also a proper traction control is hard for Toyota for some reason. I guess, these things come naturally only if your country is snow covered 8 months a year.

Though you would all appreciate Toyota's response regarding the Fox Suspension. Nothing like a 60K flagship truck you cant drive.... Thank you Toyota and I hope they see this because their customer advocacy hot line is equally useless

    Below email sent to me

Good morning, my apologies for not getting back to you sooner I've been out since Monday. I can get one side in for tomorrow but unfortunately, the other side is on back order. There aren't any in the country at the moment meaning it will probably be close to 2-3 months at best until the part gets in. It is about $1327 per side, meaning after tax it will be about $2820 for just the parts. If we installed the struts for you, including an alignment, it would come out just under $900 additional. If you want to have them ordered, we will need to have you prepay for the parts due to the price.

Huh, neighbor! :) It's the same dealer who finally convinced me I'm done with dealers.

What did you break exactly? These struts are rebuildable. You can temporarily install cheap Bilstein shocks (or park for a week) and send your FOXes to FOX for rebuild.

    OP -

did you figure this out? I’m in a similar situation. Non Toyota Dealer sold me a used 19 trd pro with a broken coil spring on the driver side. They said they would take care of the repair after fighting with them for several weeks. After i dropped it off for repair, they called and said they couldn’t get the part so they would need to replace both driver and passenger side coil springs. So i told them, go for it. I get there to pick up the truck and find out they took both front fox strut assemblies off the truck and replaced them with some cheap crap after they told me they were only replacing the coil springs. They were going to let me drive away without the TRD pro struts in my truck so i went back in there and told them to give me the struts they took off.

Long story short, i have a crappy front end suspension on the truck now and both TRD Pro strut assemblies in my garage, one of them with the broken coil spring still on it. Should i take this time to “rebuild” the fox shocks? I’m in NJ and have no idea if there’s anyone local who can do this work. Truck is a ‘19 with 48k miles. I definitely plan to replace the coil springs but i don’t want to add any lift over the stock height. Recommendations welcome.

How exactly are these coils breaking?

It takes 1/2 beers to replace a broken spring still mounted on a strut that is out of the vehicle. All you need to do it safely is: https://www.ebay.com/itm/266823536033

The coil completely sheared about 1 full rotation from the top. I bought the truck and realized it afterwards.

lol. Sure. Moreso just looking for a similar coil spring as OEM.

With that high demand for TRD PRO springs I don't understand why we don't have an epidemic of spring takeoffs yet like it was with cat converters a few years ago!

I just installed the Eibach springs on my 21 Pro. I have the old springs sitting on my garage floor. I’m in Austin, TX. Not sure how much shipping would be, but they are in the eibach box. Send me a PM.

I’m leaning towards the eibach pro lift (PN: E30-82-079-04-22). Is that what you installed? Can you share some photos? Did you need UCAs?

Yes. That’s what I put on, but the part number is just for the front springs, not the one you mentioned which includes a block for the rear. I did coach builder 3” in the back with RAS and I would say the truck sits level with the HD RAS at the medium level. I probably didn’t have to do UCA’s, but I did anyway. I was getting a slight rub on full lock both before and after. Tires are 285/75/18 Good year Duratraks from a Ford Tremor.

Looks hella good. how much lift did the front springs alone net you? Do you have before and after measurements?

I forgot to measure before, but I had the CB and RAS on without the front and unloaded it had “normal” truck rake. It was obvious. Now, it looks level or only slightly higher in the rear.

Thank god someone was able to spoon feed you the help you needed. If you go back and look, between all your whining, there were tons of solutions and offers to help that you couldn't pay attention too. I'd hate to see what happens when you get a flat tire.
