What I really need is a road trip in February without the family. Somewhere out of state and could just stay at a hotel or resort. But I don’t know where I’d go. Maybe to NM or AZ.

Other option is to drag the camper to RMNP, they have a reservable campground open year round. That seems like a lot of work though, but the camper is ready for winter camping. Just chill and do some snowshoeing, enjoy some freedom.

Haven’t been out of state since we went to Sanibel Island, and then it got obliterated.

We were looking to take ours out this weekend and test it in the cold. Then we remembered we can camp here on property. So we are staying local down here. That said, if you feel like driving to N. Florida, we have 30amp full hook up. LOL..

I will be heading to the Hilton in Mobile for work in a month, not looking forward to that, although I may stop in Destin to grab some food to bring home.

Their wings are legit. Smoked then finished in the fryer. Your doc may not like them so much though.

We like that area, stayed at Gulf Shores quite a long time ago. The Floribama was an experience.

How are you relating grocery store theft to gun laws?

Whatever this forum told me to do
back in 8th grade, my English teacher, Mr. Kuyper, told my parents that I was a very good student. HOWEVER, he called me a catalyst.
I never got in trouble, I just made trouble happen.

My apologies....but a leopard can't change his spots.

and...y'all are some damn entertaining folks...I truly love the different life situations & opinions y'all have.

Whatever this forum told me to do

    Whoa.

see, the word "need" is a communist word.

freedom loving, God fearing men discuss what we "want".

One cannot, in any situation, tell me what I "need". Only I decide that.

and when someone injects the word "need" it lathers me up.

FTR - I want as much "protection/defense" as I can carry.

not because I'm a weirdo...it's because I will probably be a bad shot of the situation presents itself, and I will WANT as many chances as possible to get out of the situation.

having a Gov entity limit my ability to defend myself is counter-intuitive to me.

and 16 is the number I usually carry. because, it's comfortable. (G26 w/G19 mag)
