    **UPDATE**
    After playing with the test harnesses, it seems as though toyota set the dim mode for LED's on these lights differently than the previous models. The dim wire does not switch off the bright wire when dim is activated like previous models. Instead Toyota must use a relay to shut off bright LED's when headlights are on. The relay must be on the stock harness for the 2018 as its not attached to the headlights.

    DUE TO THIS, ALL LED"S WILL BE BRIGHT MODE ALL THE TIME.
    Below are pictures of dim and bright modes. I think most people will prefer the bright mode 100% of the time.

    With you’re harness will the customer be able to easily add the relay down the line for Hi’s and wire up the low’s if they wanted to? Or are you not adding the lows at all?

    Lows wire can be connected if requested. Not everyone will try to add relay so if special requested I will add the low/dim wire to the connected but it will be unplugged.

    Does this mean that the lights will be dimmed down if they're on "low beam"? Or am I missunderstanding this?

    But Yes, I would prefer bright LEDs on both Low and High beams...

    No. The way the PNP harness is setup, theres no way to have the lights DIM when low beams are on due to Toyotas relay system. The PNP harness gets power directly from the ignition fuse. The only way to have the DRL's dim and function like factory is to connect them to the stock factory turn signal harness. Unfortunately no PNP harness can be made for this.

    Also the hi drl must be added with a relay and wired to the drl control unit inside the vehicle so pnp is not possible without cutting and adding some wires.

    Wow, thats Not bad at all, I've hear the guys with F-150's, that didn't pony up for LEDs are close to a couple grand for a conversion.

    **UPDATE**............***PICTURES***

    The first harness has been completed and will be shippped to the individual whom sent me their 2018 Headlights for testing.

    I made the harnesses as simple as possible.

    1 (white conversion) Harness for each Light (Driver/Passenger)
    1 DRL PNP Harness with fuse tap
    1 MotoControl Harness

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Low Beam> Ballast (On Relay Harness)
    2. High Beam> High Beam
    3. LED> DRL Harness (Driver/Passenger)
    4. Fuse Tap (DRL Harness)> Ignition Fuse in fuse box (Engine Bay). Remove Old Ignition fuse (IGN) and replace with fuse tap.
    5. Done.

    @eledobleu I assume your instructions above will make total sense once I see the harness, remove the stock lights etc? I haven't played around with this truck since Ive only owned it 3 weeks. SO those familiar with the headlight swapping process seem like pros and it sounds like Chinese to me haha.

    Are you referring to non platinum / 1794 models? Right now my LED DRL dim when the low or high beams are on (I have a 14’ platinum). Is that what you’re referring to?

    I’m probably overthink this.

    Yes if you have a factory platinum/1794 they will work as factory, just make sure to order the correct harness.
