Happy new year guys. Just came to the realization that I’ve basically been running the equivalent of a 2.35” 1900 pulley with my 77.5mm Harrop pulley, since comparatively it’s an 82.5mm when factoring in the measuring discrepancy. Not a whole lot different than the flow had from stock pulleys offered on the Magnusons out of the box. Not nearly as spicy as I thought, but I’m actually happy to be doing more than expected with less effort as far as performance. The out of the box Harrop pulley (85mm) is really a 90mm. Seems they run the most conservative boost with their provided pulley. Maybe should have done the 75mm, but I guess I’ll spare my transmission. Shower thoughts.

Bro! You still hold the fastest time on the spreadsheet. Get those gears installed and let the times tell you what you need. ;)

I am excited to see the 5.29 difference for sure! And I guess it’s up there on the sheet, although I think there are faster. @Mdl ran some real rippers lately granted with more boost, but he’s got the quickest I think with those of us with “normal” trucks, as in not Viktor. Lol

This made me chuckle because of what "normal" has become. Seeing how we're only 14:20 into it, 2025 is already looking to be a record breaking year of spend. LOL

I envy you with your big pulley. I've been on the debate train lately about going to a turbo since I don't think the 2650s with the smallest pulley would make the boost I'd want. The altitude takes any excess and wipes it away, making you beg for even the stock blower experience

i dunno, your small pulley on my 2650 at my elevation make a hell of a difference

What’s the goal? Built engine and different (non Toyota) trans levels of boost? The smallest pulley paired with a bigger crank pulley would net over 20psi at sea level based on Viktor’s setup as I recall.

I just want more power, with the 2.0" on the 1900 I'm lucky to see 8psi. I could do the crank pulley, but that sounds like a lot of screwing with stuff I'd rather not do hahaha

I got the 2.0 pulley and my ASP crank is 6.71or .75. Not too bad. Prospeed, I know you want to give them $, has the 7 inch adapter for the crank pulley.

Don't you have to pull the radiator and stuff to get to it though?

I had to remove the radiator, might just depend on your pulley removal tool, I could have cut mine down and made it work without removing the radiator. It still would have been tight with the shroud in the way, and the radiator has to be drained to remove the shroud, so might as well yank it out.

And you'll need an adapter to relocate the oil pressure sensor, depending on the pulley size. The ATI pulley I got is stock belt pulley, but larger damper so I had to modify mine.

I didn't have too. I have the e-fan so no fan in the way. But I remember swapping it with the mechanical fan on. I didn't require a puller either. Just used this to hold for removing and torque.

Is the crank pulley not press fit on?

At $400 from Prospeed I may as well design my own.

ASP will make whatever size you want, and its a balanced crank pulley.
I did utilize the 2 bolt holes to press it off. It wasn't on tight where I thought it would compromise the cover. But others may differ.

It is not pressed on. I usually give the outer edges of the pulley a couple taps with a hammer quick and then pull it right off.

6 months is insane. Not sure what is going on with whipple right now. Materials shortages maybe? Chinese new year effecting things. Who knows. But that's a gnarly lead time for a piece of metal.

Just dumb luck. Between toyota being able to work out a deal, get a transmission and install within a week and this drivetrain shop able to fit me in this week with a good price luck has been on my side. I'm gonna buy some loto tickets lol

That CAN’T be right?! Their lead time was 4 weeks before Black Friday and 12 weeks afterwards. Did he order direct or through a retailer?
