closing a deal on a 2004 Tundra extended cab with a 6.5 foot bed. (Length is close to 73" to the edge of the gate, I think the width is 66 inches, but will confirm soon.

Is this bed size compatible with any other MFG's ? Or should I stick with Leer? (hoping to find one salvaged )

@IknowURider BEFORE YOU CLOSE THE DEAL, make sure you've read our community knowledge megathread.

Especially because you're in the rust belt, and your new truck's frame is at massive risk to being totally fucked. I cannot possibly understate enough, that if you don't know what to look for on frame rust, you read that thread AND give us pictures of the frame. Don't be a victim. We read sob stories on here multiple times per year, and it fucking sucks every time.

@MT-Tundra linked the thread. You want to read this reply, #17, to get the sizing info you need. Careful about buying campers with no windows, or older camper shells that aren't in production anymore - no replacement panels/windows available. Or from brands that don't exist anymore.
