    Finished half the job.
I’ll have to do the rest tomorrow.

    Drivers side CV axle
    LBJ
    Sway bar links
    Rotors
    Pads

I had to go to the store 3 times.
    - 35mm socket
    - pickle fork
    - cotter pins

I’m pretty sure I can do the passenger side in roughly half the time.

Hardest part was getting cotter pins out (had to drill them) and getting the LBJ’s to knock out.

The CV axle is more intimidating than it actually is to do.

Nice work! What brand CVs did you go with?
I replaced the CVs in my old truck for the new owner before handing it over.
driver side in about 1:40 min.
Passenger side in just under 30 min.

First time is always slower since you need to get your tools and technique dialed.

So I did the passenger side LBJ’s and brakes.

Weird thing is now… the ABS engages just about every time I brake. It only kicks on right as I’m coming to a complete stop.

going to have to track this down.

I've been experiencing something similar. I think mine is related to a wheel bearing but will have to check it out. Are you getting any ABS codes? How is the braking aside from the ABS issue? One thing I read mentioned that improper rear brake adjustment could cause that issue.

Check the ABS sensor and make sure the orifice and sensor is clean and seated properly.

Just replaced both sensors last night.
    Still has the issue.
So for now… I pulled the ABS fuse.

    Got the stereo fixed.
    Stupid $350 later.

ended up being the AMP. So we had to do a bypass.

You have an ABS fuse that you can pull? Did you use OEM or aftermarket sensors?

    I pulled out a fuse.

I did use aftermarket sensors. I’m not even sure if that’s the problem.
Maybe I’ll worry/care about it in the spring.

Interesting. It seems that some later models don’t have a fuse (like me) and others do. I would have thought the cutoff was 2003/2004 when they made some changes and came out with the double cab.

Do you have a way to check the wheel speed sensors with an OBD reader?

    AC wasn’t working.

topped her off with a can from the parts store.
    Hopefully it seals itself.

    also rolled over 252k.

Mind explaining....am running into folks where their audio is dropping out for a period of time, possibly due to remote start. They also mention Crutchfield when explaining problem. Seems the amp bypass does the trick.

Most likely the amp is going bad.
