    Sub’s!

sweet rig! Looking at getting those wheels in 18’s with +40 offset. What are your thoughts? I’m looking for something slightly more flushed.

I haven't been on the forum in a long while. Sorry if I haven't been able to reply to comments and messages.

Here are some updated photos of the the Tundra. I added a new Thule Basin Wedge RTT.

Sorry for the late reply. I haven't been on here for a minute. To answer your question and if you haven't bought wheels yet, the ideal wheel width and wheel offset would be 8.5" wide and wheel offset of +25 to +35 if you want a flush fit using a 12.5" wide tire. A +40 would also work, but just be aware that a higher wheel offset would also give you a negative or lower scrub radius, which positively affects steering performance but may also negatively affect tire clearance on larger diameter tires (rubbing in inner fenders). If you're running 35s you need about a 2" lift and for 37s at least a 3.5" lift and you may need to do some fender trimming. I hope this helps.

Thanks. I ended up talking with Icon and they suggested a +25. They’re on the rig now and love the look.

For 37’s with a OEM 3” lift, no fender trimming needed. Just the horn on the frame and good to go as far as cutting. Also remove that extra metal piece held on by a couple bolts behind the fender liner and clip the liner back. That’s what me and a couple of my friends did.

Did you consider a Decked setup ? I'm going that route with a half slide maybe .... and then following your lead likely on the Mule rack.....
Anything you'd do differently on the Lil B's setup ? Torn on theirs, ARB or Ironman with a slight modification...

And who did you use for the lift install ? I'm from Fulshear/Katy as well - and have used Duggy's for my last 200 and 80 builds.... but love to have someone on our side of town for lift and the bumper install...

A Decked drawer system is super nice, but when I was considering one they had the older version that wasn't as "roomy" as the current version. Also, there was no way for me to store a big cooler in the truck bed used for hunting. I like the styling on the Lil B's. No regrets having their bumpers on my Tundra.

I had Extreme Off-Road in Katy do the lift install. They're very familiar with the new Tundra as they do a lot of dealer work on Tundras. They did an excellent job with the installation and 4-wheel alignment. Go there and ask for my friend Jordan. He's one of the owners. Tell him Roman referred you. They can do pretty much all the work there.
