Unless you're using the sensor for something else, I'd get the 500 psi. That will put the pressure right in the middle of the range for better accuracy.

    Something like:

Yeah, the 2000PSI was overkill, but I wasn't sure about the range that would be needed for testing. I'll get the 500 you linked and get it wired up. Looks like it used the same plug as the AEM sensors, so if I need to swap out later I can. Thanks again!

What are you reading the sensor with? I assume an automotive gauge can be Jimmy rigged? Now that I think of it, I’m pretty sure my HP tuners pro link has the same read voltage so it could be configured to log as long as I provide 12v power to the switch itself. You have piqued my interest…

Yes, a prolink will read and interpret the 5V signal perfectly and allow logging.

Hoping to get it into HP tuners analog input with a custom transform.

That's what I was thinking, too. Since I'm planning to install the Sonnax kit in a couple of weeks, I'm very interested to see what pressures look like before and after. And I want to see how my baseline compares to spec. I think I'll order a gauge, as well. What's one more project on the list...

I was thinking M8 x 1.25 or 1.0… the latter is super close to 5/16-24. Also note the plug uses an o ring seal, but a crush washer may work if the flange around the hole is machined for it. Plug is 90341-08001 (the 08 that starts the second series of number frequently tells diameter) and o ring is 90301-06196.

I'll order one of these as well, will return what I don't use...or more than likely will go into the box-o-adapters

I might have missed it, but you are supercharged. They are giving you 12 months unlimited warranty with the supercharger. Or was the supercharger Toyota installed and that's why they are giving you the warranty.

Nope. Service said all remanufactured transmissions have 12 month unlimited......now maybe guy i talked to didn't compute i was supercharged but just didn't say anything since I wasn't asked lol. With that said I'd find it hard to belive they would warranty it if it blows

Make sure you get your old transmission back unless they need a core.

Hey boss, where did you get your 650 injectors? I’ve also got a Harrop with an 80mm ready to go on. Plugs done, fuel pump done, injectors and tune next.

Pressure gauge and adapters ordered. All of the other parts for my VB upgrade also arrived, so now I just need to make some time. In the meanwhile, I will continue on as usual with a calm, normal, routine December...

I have the Five-0 650 and they are supernaturally low on the duty cycle per Sniv.

Whatever this forum told me to do
    tuning question:

this relates to my truck now hitting boost before I hit PE.

as a reminder, this is because I had it tuned on the 80mm...and sorta-recently moved to a 77.5mm pulley.

well, I pulled a covered trailer recently (~5klbs). this exacerbated the boost issue. I had to ease into the pedal.

    so.

I will have it re-tuned in Jan....soonest avail appoint.

what is the vernacular I need to use to get him to address the issue(s)?

is it as simple as moving PE (throttle position) back a few notches?

is it possible for him to adjust AFR as my pedal position changes?

or, just tell him my story & let him handle it?

had some parts arrive. I wasn't going to do the HP tuners just yet, but that website kept eyeballing me.

I reached out to Colton, he said that Whipple told him to go away until next week to get an eta for shipping. Good news is, Whipple HQ (not sure if thats where they ship from) is in Fresno CA....so only a few hours south of me.

When I ordered my Whipple end of November, the lead time jumped to 12 weeks due to their sale so I expected to see it mid February. It showed up a week or so before Christmas. They do a great job whittling down their lead time, I'm guessing because most of their production is done in house so they aren't waiting on supply as much, as is often the case with so many production parts.

I also understand telling people to go away for a week so I can get some work done... haha.

Would be nice if it would come sometime next week since i'm off after that through the new year. If it doesn't it doesn't and i'll put the Band-Aids and Motrin back in the medicine cabinet for another day!
