Old man, new member, lots of questions.

I just joined as I have inherited from an old friend a 2003 Access Cab SR5 V8 with 146,000 miles. It has be standing up outside for the last two years, with only 1,000 miled driven since it was last serviced in 2022.

Mechanically, it seems to be in relatively good shape. I have changed the oil and rotated and balanced the tires. New tires were put on at the last service in '22. Additionally, there were multiple items repaired/serviced at the last service. My main concern is what should be checked,serviced, or replaced? Also, the Timing Belt and ancillary parts (water pump, etc.) have not be replaced as far as I can determine. 90,000 miles is the Toyota recommended replacement mileage, so I presume that should be done.

Cosmetically, the truck looks pretty good. It has a lot of mildew and mold from sitting under oak trees. I have cleaned most of this from the easy parts of the truck, but some remains in the cracks and crevices. The interior is in good condition, excluding the smell from be closed for so much time. Also, the standard radio's antenna is broken off.

Sorry for being so long winded, but here are my initial questions:

A. How important is replacing the timing belt, etc. immediately?
B. Recommendations for good cleaning products to get rid of the mildew for the exterior and interior.
C. Recommendations on replacing the radio antenna.

I am looking forward to learning so much from these forums. I appreciate any and all recommendations, suggestions, and ideas.

I have always contended that the Mama Toyota 90,000 mile recommended services and/or replacements are driven by their management of 100,000 mile factory warranties (used to be the norm for Toyota many moons ago before they went to 36,000 miles). I can lightly offer as proof that my 1997 (that I bought new) T-100, with 275,000 miles on it, is running the factory OEM water pump.

Need to do some maintenance and get everything freshened up.
Change timing belt- it is important, just do it. it is probably original
Change any other accessory belts
Change all fluids- engine, xfer case, diffs, coolant
Id do a drain and fill of trans
replace spark plugs
Change air filter, cabin filter

For mildew, water with a splash of bleach and dawn will clean it up or look into some of the products made for boats- lots of products for mold, mildew, etc available.

Antenna- junkyard find, toyota may still have them, or just replace with aftermarket one that you like. Internet search will find you many options.
