What the actual fuck, you need this to lube the 'ole ass prior to taking the reaming!!!

 

Yeah I'm not going to lie, I saw that and only viewed the picture in the post. Didn't catch the butthole stretching price that accompanies it.

 

I tried with one of those pumps that fits on the bottle, and gave up...bought one of these and it's a life saver, and not a wallet-breaker. I put in 1 qt at a time and marked the line on the outside of the container so I know how much goes in.

I am ready for a trans flush & prefer to have a trans dedicated filler to be certain nothing else gets in there, thinking the 35-dollar deal is the way to go.

 

@Wynnded were you still locking the TC in 4th or did you go back to stock SC lockup?

 

@snivilous has mine locked up all the time.

 

I kept going back and forth of locking. Wasn't sure after @Wynnded got his built trans what he was doing. I just re -tuned with it locking up.

 

The factory tune not allowing 4th lockup in D and only S mode is pretty annoying. Have to change that on my tune actually. IIRC @Wynnded was more skeptical of if locking the TC in 3rd caused an issue, which the stock tune doesn’t do.

 

Yeah. He msgd me a few times about the 3rd gear and was floating the 4th locking while redoing his tune.

Ok so first round of pics are back from level10 on my stock trans. Here they are. I’m no transmission expert.

 

A little C1 slippage and burnt.

 

C1 is for 1st gear? Making a wild guess there, but it makes sense lol.

 

C1/C4 are engaged 1-2-3-4 but I could be backwards for C4 looking at it. C1/C4 both connect to input shaft and intermediate shaft.

Those should be for 5-6. They are tearing into it quickly. What's the turnaround eta?

 

Dropped off at 9am yesterday. I think the guy that was removing the trans came in this morning at 430am. Trans was tore apart mid aft today. I’m told I can get the truck next week on Tuesday but at this rate it’ll be done quicker.

Yup, it's a transmission! You can tell by the way that it is.

Yup. It's been used by many members here. It's also been used by countless people on other forums on different vehicles. It a full synthetic, which WS isn't. I just switched to it when I did my VB upgrade.

 

My first transmission was burned up when I used valve line. Most likely a coincidence as I wasn't being nice to it. But I only put Toyota/ Idemitsu/AISIN WS in it. Probably just paranoid as other WS type fluids have been used without incident.

 

The question now is.... do I have them put in 5.29 gears while they have the truck...

 

Well, some say it would put less strain on the new transmission. You’ll probably never find them cheaper for both the gears and the current sales on the master install kits assuming those Motive gears are still on sale dirt cheap. The trick is to just invest so much money into the truck you feel you can never sell it for a new one. Before you know it, your truck mods have SAVED you money.

 

Those motive gears are in my Amazon cart...right now. I was waiting to see someone get the installation done!!

lol trust me I feel that. Every time I think about an F250 6.7 I think about how much I love the truck and how much money I've sunk into it over the years.

 

Bleed once and don't look back. Nobody wants to be without their truck for multiple prolonged periods.
