The wireless charger that I had previously hacked together on the center console wasn’t working well after my wife moved to a smaller iPhone, so I hacked up a RMF prototype MagSafe tray I had laying around. Works much better, keeping the phone in place and charging. Now I just need to figure out how to use Fusion 360 and design a better fitting tray insert…

Had a little down time yesterday and today to install some shelfware - Pro Eagle mount is mounted and the Beast has a home on the truck.
    IMG_5046.jpg

The lower end of the mount is supported by a rubber block (a loading dock bumper) that is thru-bolted into the bed. The back is on the bed rail, with 2 extra 3/8” grade 8 bolts holding the rail to the bed wall.
    IMG_5041.jpg

Should be ready to see if it stays put or gets launched into low orbit this weekend, if schedules allow.

I really like the your tire install and am looking to do that as well. What size drill bit and type did you use to drill through the bed liner?

I’m 99% sure I used 1/4” hardware on those, thru-bolted to the bottom of the bed. I have a set of Milwaukee titanium bits that run through it pretty easily.

Which part? If you’re talking about the mounts for the chase lights, I had a few different iterations for how I mounted them on the bed cap. That particular setup was just some fender washers sandwiching the cap and using the carriage bolts that came with the lights.

The cooler tiedowns are D rings I got off Amazon that fit on the bed bolts, and some ratchet straps that I modified to be shorter on the ratchet side.

I did not make the pod lights. I bought those. :D

Haha yeah the cooler stuff was pretty easy. I’m guessing there are more details on that somewhere in this thread. Let me know if you need a link or more info.

Don’t let the wiring intimidate you. 12v is pretty easy and mostly safe.

These little guys showed up with a pile of things from UPS today. I had forgotten that @memario1214 told me about them when he was in town a while back and ordered them with my winch. I’m hoping they work well, since they have pressure settings on the side of the stem and would make it way easier to dial the pressure based on the terrain.

I know this struggle… haha! I’m trying to work on my Christmas gift being a gear install for the “cheap” 5.29s I picked up…

Ah! I randomly saw a product like that on Amazon but didn't click in to it so I didn't realize what it was.

Those look nicer than what I saw. Thanks for sharing

They’re a nice product. OVS makes them and Colton carries them, but he’s a slacker and they’re not on his website

I'm hoping they do well. I have some off-brand coyote-style clip on auto deflators already, but changing the pressure on the fly would be nice.

If the adjuster is accurate they should be nice, my staun ones hold pretty true but aren’t easily adjustable

Staying true to my method of redoing everything on my truck multiple times, I scored an ARB Dual setup from @BiggHertz and got that install wrapped up today.
    IMG_5127.jpg
    IMG_5073.jpg
The setup includes a momentary press switch that activates a timer and self-latching relay circuit that lets the compressor run for 20 minutes or until accessory power is turned off. More details in Jason’s build thread here
    IMG_5129.jpg

This new setup will definitely cut into my trail beer nightcap time, but that’s okay.

Updated the jack mount support to use a 3x3x6 square steel tube instead of the rubber block. It was notched for the bed rib and bed bolt, and now allows for the removal of the mount itself, leaving just the support bracket in the bed.
    IMG_5138.jpg
    IMG_5139.jpg

Maybe someday I'll repair the failed rivnut holes I tried using for the unijack mount...
