Yeah, I'm hitting the swaybar a touch at full lock. Disappointed as was pretty confident going in that wouldn't happen. Haven't decided yet what (if anything) to do. Going to inflate up to 50 in the front and see if it still happens, and then look at both the TRD Pro sway geometry and also a sway bar drop kit to move things around. definitely don't want to go with spacers.

Made the following to my Tundra.

    Method 316 Matte Black 18x9” +18
    NITTO Ridge Grapplers 305/65-18
    ReadyLift 2" Front Leveling Kit
    No Rubbing

Word of advice on the ReadyLift 2" Front Leveling Kit. After the kit install, I took the truck for a frontend alignment and the tech could not get the caster dialed in. Started doing some research and seems like I'm not the only one. Solutions are from finding a reputable alignment shop to adding adjustable caster bolts and many others. If the alignment problem can't be solved I'm going to remove the leveling kit and install the TRD 3" lift when Toyota releases the stop sale on the lift.

Took the truck for a 20 mile drive and it is tracking straight and feels like there's no problems. Overall I'm happy with the way it looks but for me it has a little too much poke.

    • Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 275/65R20 116T SL
    • Stock 20" TRD Off Road wheels
    • No lift, but the back is squatting in the pictures because I have 8 tires and 4 wheels in the bed.
    • No rubbing

Looks great! Do you have a side-on pic of the truck? Curious how this size looks with the cap?

Seems a little bulky for a leveling kit, but you do you.

Will 295/70/18 Nitto Recon Graps fit on stock 2024 suspension SR5 with little to no rub/trimming ?

I have read in here a couple times it can but seems like that is from folks with TRD Pros.

    Wheels are 18x9, 12mm offset.

I plan to lift later in a couple months
Just wanted to drive em on stock suspension until then.

    thanks!

Just making a joke about the weight in the back leveling out the truck. Joke wasn't very funny. It happens.

You looking at the SL ones. I'm curious about how those perform in the rain. I want a lightweight tire and am leaning towards those or the Bridgestone Dueler Ascent A/T in 295/70R18.

I had to trim the mudguards and pin back wheel well liner to get away from the slight rub at full lock. No lift , no leveling kit !

Its very easy ! There are existing holes for the pin clip in the steel frame . Just pop a small hole in the fabric and push the clip in and your done.

Awesome looking. Same wheels I want with the +40 offset. Hopeing they are back in stock soon.

I had +18 316 wheels on my 19 Tundra but it was too much poke for me spending time on dirt roads.

Toyota has a stop sale on the lift? I’ve found one expected to the dealer by Dec with the TRD Lift and am about to make an offer. Please advise though I will scour the internet for info. Thanks!

BTW, that’s a damn fine looking truck you have!

I have the factory installed 3”TRD lift. It’s great. I had Icons on my last Tundra, this is just as good so far. IMG_1782.jpg IMG_0420.jpg

    New shoes arrived

    295/70/18 nitto recon graps SL
18x9 offset 12mm black rhino diamondback

    not much poke
Got the rough country sport flares ordered anyway.

    no lift (yet)
Pinned back the liner so hope no rub

Haven’t seen these wheels anywhere on a tundra or any vehicle before. (Fairly new)

wheels are 27.7lbs and tires 52.49lbs (each)
Should be only around 5-7lbs each more than stock. Was trying to keep it as close as possible.

    Unique design, I like 'em.
Any chance you know what the rims weigh? Black Rhinos always seem to be heavy-ish....
I wish Nitto would make the new G3's in that size in a SL. so far just E's.
(Or make the Recons in a 3PMSF....)

Nice, I was torn between matte black and gloss gunmetal. I had matte black Ray10’s on a Tacoma so I thought I would try something different this time. Mine were delivered yesterday also. Now I need to get a tpms for the 5th wheel.

I am looking for the same setup without adding leveling or lift kit, what did you end up doing? I am looking into 275/65r20 Vs 285/60r20

275/65R20 is the only one that offers non-E load tire options if that matters to you at all.

For me it is fine, rubbing is my concern.
Anyone knows what is the max tire diameter I can use on stock rim (R20) without running into rub, thats for 1794 TRD offroad,
