I / Installer could not get the AMP power boards to work on my 2024 TRD Pro. It's like the steps had a mind of their own. Sometimes they worked, but mostly did not. Sometimes they close, sometimes not. Several times they would pop out without notice and catch me in the shin. Installed module, still no go. We swapped them out for the Go Rhinos. They are working like a charm... What ever brand you go with, don't purchase from Real Truck. Horrible customer service.... Took almost two months to get things sorted out.
Hybrid may have played a part in the inconsistent operation of the AMP (which plugs into OBD). Just a guess.
    YMMV

My truck didn’t come with power boards. One of the first things I did was buy some. I opted for Rough Country e-boards. Have had for a year on the truck. I like that the wiring harness comes with 4 led lights that sticker to the frame of the truck. Oh and these are dual motor and less than the popular amp ones. That helped me make the decision.

Thanks for the info. Does that kit allow you to wire in the dash switch.

@waynesel just a small switch with 3M adhesive. When I head to work I’ll take a pic of it and post later. I routed my wire near the center console area and just tucked it out of the way.

Installer mounted switch. I would like to use one of the open spots on the oem switch panel. I asked that question in another thread.

O man, my OCD wouldn't be able to handle that.

Can't they wire up a stock switch from the trucks like mine that have the OEM power boards? it has in, out, auto, etc.

Fact! I'm looking for OEM options. Should be able to wire and install an OEM push button in one of the open slots.... Cali-Raised may have switch options.

what AMP boards did you have? From my understanding, they have a very recent version for Hybrid, and the past ones were not Hybrid compatible?

I'm also looking into this as a future purchase.
