Can anyone put to rest the wiring for the premium lights so we can stop asking questions? Or any pictures of the 7->4 setup?

Just ordered a set for a second time. I went through the same dealership you did, hopefully I receive them at some point. I back ordered through a different dealership a couple months ago and about a month in they cancelled the back order and said no longer available.

Once I saw they were backordered, I canceled and ordered from a local dealership. They were also backordered, but I was assured they'd get them. Sure enough, I picked them up this morning....four comically large boxes.

Has anyone painted to match their truck color the TRD Pro Fender flares? I am assuming it can be done successfully, however might entail a few more coats of paint to hide the Camo design? Thanks!

I’ve seen a couple. One sanded down then painted. Another where they kept the camo. Both looked good.

Interesting, as local Toyota Dealer Body Shop says that if they paint them the Camo design would stll be visible, and that if they sand them they will lose their structural integrity????

Thanks, not sure how the owner was able to get them painted black. I have contacted 2 Toyota body shops and both are saying they cannot and will not paint them as they are textured and sanding them would make them uneven, and if you paint without sanding the paint will peel over time due to the texture of them :(

as I said in our messages. Go to an automotive paint shop or custom shop. Dealers Contract their paint out (and most bodywork).

The (2) toyota body shops that I engaged with I have done business with before, they don't send their paint work out. The other reputable custom paint shop looked at the part and alo agreed that they would not paint them, and would not guarantee the paint. It appears these are better left alone then to paint them

Ditto however as luck would have it I’m out of my home state … the agony knowing I could be one step closer to my 1794/Pro…

On the radar for Wednesday, I also have the Rave harness and going the trailer harness route.

Today working the dog platform and hopefully get the TRD skid plate installed. I’m TRD lifted so I need spacers which a fellow member shared details last week on what to purchase.

I have a 24 Platinum with the sequential lights - I used the 7-pin adapter for the tailgate spoiler lights, all four fender lights and the front grill marker lights using waterproof connectors and waterproof butt connectors. Ran up the passenger side frame rail into the engine bay. Brown wire on the adapter is positive for marker lights/running lights and white is the ground. Taped and tucked the other 3 wires (reverse, Left turn/brake, Right turn/brake) in case they are ever needed in the future.

This doesn’t cause the car to register a trailer?

No not at all. I've towed with my trailer multiple times since install and it registers as soon as I hook my 7 pin up. Doesn't register any other time.

I called Joseph Airport Toyota to check on my order today, I ordered on the 6th as well.

I was told that they have 3 of the 4 flares for my order. Said there were 7 sets on hand for orders all the same, 3 of the 4 flares. The 4th, which he mentioned but I don’t remember which specific flare, is still back ordered with no eta. He said once they receive the 4th flare they will ship the whole set.

Hopefully it won’t be a long wait for that last one. I think the guys that got there’s pretty quick got lucky.

Does anyone know the part number for the marker light itself? Not the fender including the marker light? One of mine broke.

Hello all. I’ve searched this site under multiple forums to try and find a wiring solution. This is what I have. 2022 SR5 TRD Off-road with non-sequential LED DRL. I found this wiring setup from this company:

    https://www.toyotafreaks.com/produc...-wire-harness-kit?_pos=1&_sid=33d4b9e93&_ss=r

This kit turns the fender lights on when the parking lights are on.

The harness comes with a double pigtail (photos attached, I tried my best to get wire colors as well). I plugged the double pigtail into the Rear Passenger Tail light and chased one wire set to the Rear Driver Side. What I changed was how the front fenders were wired. I “T” tapped off the Red and Black wires from this setup from the Right Rear Light and chased two 18 gauge wires lummed up to the front passenger side wires (the front is two wire sets one red and black to front left and a red and black from the front right combined into one tail) I cut the ground ring off the wire as well as the fused wire meant to plug into the fuse box. I crimped with heat shrink waterproof splices. Cleaned up the wires with wire ties from the Rear Driver side counterclockwise to the Driver Front headlight. Hope this helps some of you who are looking to complete these fender flares.
No change to factory wiring, about 45 minutes laying everything out. Install was 3 beers long.

    Just FYI I have 2024 SR5
    ****Not the premium LED headlights****

I just tapped into the green wire on the headlights for my TRD Pro grill swap for the amber grill marker lights.

don’t think you can do this with the Premium LED headlights cause of the CanBus garbage.

Marker lights come on and off when I turn on the lights or DTRL and do NOT stay on all the time like if I fused into the trailer lights fuse.

    Hope this helps someone.
