Grill emblem question

Brand new to the group. I have a 2017 Tundra SR5 that I just replaced the grill and hood bulge. My old Toyota emblem doesn’t work in the new after market grill. The part number I keep seeing as comparable just doesn’t look like it will fit. Looking for any advice. Thanks in advance. Attached pic is the new grill and the recommend emblem piece.

Since you have a 2017 and therefore you don't actually have a sensor that sits behind the emblem, you could do a custom one or just glue any emblem into place. I'd personally just go to a local salvage and try to get any grille or emblem they had and just attach it with glue or double sided tape. Last I saw the emblems you are looking for are not cheap if purchased new.

Where are you located? I got a spare emblem that's slightly used and gots a couple broken tabs but might work for you. Can give it a try if your local.

Pretty sure the part number you're looking for is the one @TacomaTRD4x402 posted and in the thread that @RobertD linked it's the bottom emblem part number 53141-71010. Looks like it's been used on Tundras, Tacomas, and Land Cruisers. I see some near perfect used ones on Ebay going for ~$30 or there's a new one for $37 TOYOTA Genuine Grille Emblem 53141-71010 Land Cruiser Tundra Tacoma New | eBay

 

I was thinking the same thing. I hope you’re right. I just bought one on eBay for about 35 bucks. I’ll let everyone know if it fits. Thanks for all the help.

 

It should fit as there have only been two emblems for 2014-2021's. Also forgot to say, welcome to the forum!

 

For that honeycomb grille that he has, the part number for the emblem did change. It has to do with a mounting screw. I'll look through my pictures for that part number.

 

This is off the spare garnish that I have and does match what @Snert posted...
