Question for all of you SC folks towing heavy - how much KR Feedback are you seeing during throttle/load changes? We think we've hit the point where we are logging and seeing so much that we're essentially fighting the normal Toyota functions, meaning no tuning is going to stop the computers from learning and anticipating, then adjusting back accordingly. Really just looking for confirmation others see it, and that (like ECTs), we aren't trying to work out a problem that essentially doesn't exist.

I haven’t ever logged towing, so I can’t give you truly useful information. That said, every time I ever look at the live data on my SG3 it always has KCLV at 17 (which I believe is a good thing) and knock feedback at -3 when coasting and 0 under any varying load that I’ve observed it. I’m sure it is moving from that and I’m just not logging it or catching it with my eyes as a drive. What kind of numbers are you seeing in logs? @snivilous had some good input on what is common to see with these values before, linked below. https://www.tundras.com/threads/general-supercharger-thread.85513/page-375#post-3371740

What ECT’s are you seeing? Pulling 8k enclosed at 70 mph I’m seeing 208F max in 5th gear if I’m riding the boost line and trans lockup. If I need more power, it kicks down to 4th and ECT’s drop a few degrees with more coolant flow (I’m assuming). It will start to climb a degree or two if I’m needing sustained power climbing a grade but still usually an degree or two than 5th gear.

Thanks for the link! I'll get reading up on it. And I'll get you the specifics. @TurboKits has seen it and the small tweaks have not made any difference in my driving/towing experience which has us believing it is just normal. Figured it was worthy of a quick ask since it's not turbo specific.

Uhh does anyone need this MRP 4.5" intake tube? Also had a 3d printed filter adapter from the project I was doing. Tube I think is usually $95. Say shipping plus $40?

Did you just want newer coils than the Lexus 90919-02269 ones? One has a denso part number vs the Toyota one.

In case the eBay coils fail, I want to be able to replace them.

Hopefully you were able to return those other coils. The Denso's were a decent price.

Hopefully will pickup the 880cc turbokits injectors next month. The 750cc Five O's gave me a few extended starts...

Setting up a dual battery system here. I thought about it and then went with a deep cycle AGM. There are two issues with Lithium: Cold and Fire.

Call me Doubting Thomas, but there are so many bad first-hand experiences with batteries in the cold I was having none of it. My own personal experience is limited to having one of those 5ah tool batteries dying because I left it in the cab overnight in freezing conditions.

To my knowledge, you can't put out a lithium battery once it catches fire. The fire just keeps burning until it runs out of fuel. Did you see the news story https://asia.nikkei.com/Business/Au...under-pressure-following-South-Korea-EV-blaze about the Benz catching fire in a parking garage over there in Korea? Burned up 140 other cars. I would strongly suggest anything other than a Chinese made device!!

I did AGM, no battery is worth 600+

    Anyone rebuild TRD calipers?

Don't know about rebuilding but there was another thread on another brand of big brake kits and TRD was discussed. I believe pads and rotors were on back order with no time frame IIRC.

I haven't done a triple piston one but it's not difficult. Pop out the pistons(clean them up), hone, install new seals...
Did you find a TRD seal kit?

I'm in no hurry, I just installed new rotors and pads so it'll be years until I need to install them.

They are the ST-65 Stoptech calipers for reference. Slightly bigger pistons than the ST-60 that SOS sells for their BBK

    Many on the way.
If you run into an issue obtaining the brackets, I have a 380 kit NIB, and can offer the brackets up in order to produce copies.
