    This whole thread has me about to make poor financial decisions. Before I pull the trigger I want to make sure I'm going to be able to do more than drive in a straight line lol. I'm currently running 295/70r18 Yokohama Geolander MT'S on Fuel 18x9 +1 offset wheels, King 2.5's, and Freedom Uniball UCA's. I have already done a pretty aggressive BMC but have not plated it yet incase more needs to be cut. I have not done the pinch weld yet. I know I will need to have the alignment done to adjust for more caster. I'm looking at running the Maxxis RAZR MT's. Should I just run a 35" or is a 37" really realistic?

    That's good to know. I was hoping to stay with the Geolanders but at almost $100 more per tire it doesn't make sense.

    When I drive north, I go the long way around so I don’t spot him in Beaverton. It’s bad enough online, but I can afford that level. Not sure I can handle a live-action meeting…

    I had to run through Tigard yesterday to pick up a couple new jig rods. Had the wife with me, so I ran like hell after the rods were loaded.

    Side note, she was less than impressed with how much room the passenger seat loses when you quickly cram two 9’ jig rods in the cab!

    One is my UC Reaper. Had a minor repair done. Other is a 10’ Rainshadow MH Tuna Popper 2-piece rod. Interesting, as the split leaves about 7’-6” in one piece with a 30” butt section. With my guide layout and reel placement, it worked fine with 6” cut off the butt. Both are spiral wrapped.

    TRD Pro Fox shocks at all four corners, added a .5 coach builder spacer to the fronts for a total of 2.5" of lift. Rear is plus 1" Coach builder shackle only. BMC done and Coach builder bumper spacers also added. Plastic at front of fender well also massaged for another inch or so of clearance. That's it.

    I'm hopeful but.....I've lurked on this thread long enough to realize there arent many big lift, negative offset guys that go 37s.

    I bought this truck with a 6" Pro comp spacer lift on Fuel 20 x 10 and -19 offset (from what i can find searching these wheel specs) running 35" ridge grapplers. I had some rubbing when the tires were newer and installed CB bumper shims. The front fender liners have some minor nip/tuck from the previous owner.

    I'm wanting to replace the front spacers with coilovers, looking at the Vertex 2.5s. If I went that route I'd likely look at SPC UCA as well.

    Knowing I'd at least need an aggressive BMC and PW mod, is there any hope for fitting 37s with those wheel specs? I probably won't convince the boss that new wheels are needed when these tires wear out. Just trying to see gauge how realistic 37s would be on this setup.

    No wheeling, no towing. Very limited offroad except to get to fishing spots. Thanks in advance for the input!

    Are most of you guys spacing your bumps down to limit uptravel? I’m doing the math on running 37s and looking like you lose 1” of uptravel, which is a lot given these trucks don’t have much to begin with.

    That being said, I still want 37s. Lol.

    20x10 on -19 is a bit extreme for my taste. But, I mean whatever floats your boat. If it’s already running 35s and you’re not seeing anything that affects your daily drivability, then I don’t see why 37s would affect if it much more considering you’ll most likely be on the pavement.

    Go for it. It seems everything is already in place so you might just need an alignment after putting on new tires.

    I left my OE bump stops in place. I know quite a few have added the extension to the front bump stops to limit up travel.

    I talked to quite a few shops now and all advised not to do 37s on mid travel, but OK on long travel. Static ride height is too low on these trucks to allow for full functionality of the tire on MT.

    So with that info I found some nice new 37” KO2s for $1000 lol.

    I don't understand what the shop means.
    37s will fit a truck on stock suspension if you want to. It's a tire. It's functionality is rolling...
    What is "full functionality"?
    Guess they mean squish it adds to the ride.
    Or maybe they said that hoping you'd buy a long travel from them?

    Lol wouldn’t be surprised actually that they advise against it.

    I had a couple people say that if you want full functionality of your articulation, then 35s are the sweet spot or even 285/75. But ultimately, I wanted to be a cool kid and so I went with 37s instead.

    Yes, without proper modifications, you’re limiting a lot of up travel running 37s. Which is why there’s many that suggest to actually go find a loading dock or something that allows your truck to go full lock and seek areas of rubbing. I personally have not done that, but for what I use my truck for right now, as long as I’m not rubbing when I’m turning or doing u-turns, then I’m good. I would like to eventually put my truck into full lock and trim a bit more or even consider purchasing glass and a high clearance front bumper to mitigate all those issues.
