Yes it is 650#, nobody provides any information on their site. I got mine and the part number on the shock didn’t match anything I could find online. But these springs are available online and in some pictures of the 6112s you can see them. Spring part number E4-FD1-Z449B02

side note, check out these new plates!!! Not for the tundra but for my little silver vw golf tdi. It’s shaped like a foil wrapped baked potato.

No add a leaf or blocks. The rear leaf springs are in pretty good shape. Maybe the PO did a rear lift also? Theres stock ride height numbers out there for the AC on the back somewhere isn’t there? I can measure the back and maybe I am already lifted?

I saw someone on here recently mention you can get them with 700# springs but I couldn't find that online.

What year GTI?! Can't remember if you posted pics or not. Don't make me post my MKIV again!

Add a Leaf will give you more weight capacity and kinda "performance" . . block . . more height only. You can also count your leaves? Spelling?

The MT/Rs have been available for several years and are well reviewed. This is a newer tread design for them. Same tire as the Americus Rugged ATR

How long ago did you buy your truck? I feel like I've been seeing your username since I joined, but you must have updated some stuff recently (like location). Being in the same general area as me, I wonder if we were looking at the same time. Can't decide if your truck looks familiar or not...But we were probably searching the same area. I reached out to someone from Spokane with a Tundra for sale but they never responded. Got mine in Boise.

the 700lb springs are a taller free height, bit that seems like they would bind earlier to me.

Exactly. On these and really all IFS trucks, lift is at the expense of down travel. So there’s a sweet spot. For us, it’s around 2-2.5” of lift. When you run out of down travel, the suspension clunks to a hard stop on the bump stops. Gives a rough ride.

Does the owner’s manual call out DOT 5.1? I would’ve gone with a DOT 3 or 4. The lower the number, the less moisture it absorbs at the expense of a lower max temp rating. Unless the temp rating really matters (heavy towing & continual mountain driving), I didn’t think our trucks come close to the rated temp in real word ordinary conditions.

Y'all trying to save money on tires is crazy talk. It's probably one of the most important parts to a vehicle. I bought tires at Walmart once for my Corolla and they wanted to kill me. Never again.

yea im all about a good bang for the buck, but getting a AT or MT that youre gonna use offroad in the middle of nowhere sometimes. I definitely want something proven. But like recently stated, Wildpeaks started out pretty cheap apparently and they are what i run now and really like them. They get great reviews too

2006 TDI, 5 speed with some injectors, lift, and tune on 215/75r15 Toyo ATIII. IMG_3493.jpgRear leaves look stock to me but IDK, they’re definitely different than my rwd TRD sport tundra. IMG_3497.jpgIMG_3495.jpg
Measurement in my uneven driveway were very evenly distributed. Drivers front,Drivers rear, and passenger rear were all 21.75” to the center of hub from inner fender (I have the bulge out style stock wheel wells.) passengers front was 22” and I confirmed it was the 4th C-clip setting.
I bought the white one this April after shifty convinced me I shouldn’t try to convert my rwd 05 tundra to 4x4. Bought this for $6000 w/165k miles from a Russian guy who flips wrecked cars in Spokane after I got him to take $1000 off for his ugly tires. Rebuilt title needing front end suspension work which was perfect because I had a plan to replace all that anyway. Looked like this when I bought it with my stock wheels on.IMG_2039.jpg

it says dot3, but I’m buying the Bosch 5.1 hype. I heard it absorbs water faster, but it has great corrosion resistance, flow in colder weather, and even with more water absorption it resists boiling until a much higher temp. So for the mountains and towing that I often do it’s worth it as long as I flush every 5 years. Especially since I have the hydro assist pump instead of a brake booster vacuum system I want the fancy stuff. But every DOT3 I’ve had and never changed has worked great for me also.

Rear looks stock to me. Your numbers look stock also [in the rear]*. And yep, that's basically level. So 6/4 on 6112 will get AC/V8/4WD a smidge higher in the front, but basically level. That's awesome to hear, and I think if I swap out my stiff ass Toytecs for 6112s, I'll probably go 6/4.

Meanwhile, I was at the opposite end of the MKIV spectrum with a 99.5, VR6 MT. This thing was so much damn fun but I did get sick of having to fix something every 2-3 months. Rubber and plastic lines in the engine bay would've been the end of me. Sold for more than I bought it after a few years, once it was "done". Got an MKV Jetta also manual, boooooring.

Guys with 6112s, are you finding at the 6/4 setting your driver side sits higher? I know they recommend that for the driver side lean, but my driver side was always higher even with a full tank of gas.

I ended up moving my passenger side to the 5 circlip location and that evened it out pretty good. Its strange cuz when I had the 5100s there was no mention from Bilstein about using different heights to make up for the driver side lean. Or i dont remember seeing that at least. Oh well all our trucks are a little different with how we build them and what we have on them, just wanted to throw my experience out there.
