What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Very interested in this. Can you share all the parts you purchased to install this? The Dasaita thread is 83 pages.

 

Yea same size with the new at4w falken. She approved some suspension so we will see lol

 

I replaced the rear Nivomets with new ones and probably gonna throw some 5100’s with about an inch lift on the front of hers.

 

I haven't had time to install my suspension but I removed the mudflaps and threw on the new wheels and tires today. Surprisingly just a little rubbing at full lock in reverse.

Wow man, that's awesome!! I've always wanted to go to the Baja 1000!! I remember watching it on TV when I was a teenager and that started my love for rally racing. I will make it there eventually. Bucket list.

 

I'd love to get some more horses as my front bumper/winch combo is about 400 lbs. It will get up and go, just slower...

Had my 2019 TRD Pro for about 3 weeks now. So far installed drivers side grab handle and a Rega dash mount. Have a buddy that used to installs at Best Buy, we installed a front camera today and I put a ICS support plate under the Rega dash mount.

 

Except it eats taillights lol so cheap housings ftw

While y'all were doing some serious sh*+ I changed out the center console tag

 

Like, you lose the assembly or it breaks? If it breaks the bulbs and harness would transfer to the new housing.

If you lose them, I get keeping it easily replaceable

How do you get it out of park with no tail lights?

I pop a tail light fuse and I'm a pedestrian.

 

On my first leg of my road trip with the TB coolant bypass, I stayed at exact temp of ambient with the occasional 3° above...fuel mileage went up and driveability seemed better!! Just food for thought...

Can you explain this to me like I'm five?

 

Just finished a 7100 mile road trip, VA out to ID and back, with side trips. Went out the southern route, I-95, I-20, I -10, north on US93 to Twin, came back on I-80 and I-70. 17.3 mpg for the trip. Saw family, friends and old shipmates. We did everything with the truck but tow. 4H and S-mode on Idaho mountain back roads was the bomb. Oil and brake fluid changed and ready to go again. Truck at a campsite on the banks of the Salmon River.

 

Rerouting the coolant tubes that goes through the throttle body results in better performance of temps

How much of a mileage improvement have you seen on the bypass? It's always been in the back of my mind, just wasn't sure if the juice was worth the squeeze. I wonder how much cooler mine would run with the Mishimoto radiator.
