Yes, I understand that. The confusion lies in how I get those three wires from the BD harness connected to the 5 wires (or 4 if you consider the combined grounds) from the switch harness. The pin diagram from the switch is confusing. Posted again here for reference.

It goes together just how it shows:

Red is illumination/dash light +, green is 12v, white and black are ground, blue to the relay.

I’d pull out a meter or test light and verify the black wire on the BD harness is your 12v.

I had no problem wiring up my baja bars to a switch like yours...All I had to connect at the switch was grounds...tan wire tap from a neighboring switch for the backlight and the trigger to the relay. Is that not how youre wiring it up?

edit: nm...took too long to reply

I think I'm going to pay a BD dealer to install.

Totally unnecessary. It’s an easy bolt on job. Super easy if willing to use the stock BD switch. Even if using a factory lookalike switch like I did, it’s still not hard, I just had a confusing diagram. Once I figure out what was what, easy peezy.

Can you share pics of end result, switch and cable management under hood?

I can, but it’s gonna be a few days. The cable management part is stupid easy. BD has an entirely self contained harness. It’s pretty self explanatory. There are also multiple YT videos on installing a 20” hidden light bar.
