    No burning @ 208K!

I switched to Valvoline Restore & Protect 5w-30 after watching Lake the Oil Geek’s video on it. Valve train seems to sound quieter, even on cold startups. Between that and how dark the oil is during a change, I can only assume the Valvoline has been doing its job.

I also measure the oil coming out, and it is just about dead-on (if not exactly) the same quantity to what I’ve put in.

Get the mineral oil they suggest, it does not come with it & none of the household oils worked well.

Considering how much they stretch the confines of reason on their "regular" pricing, ripping off shipping is tacky.

    142k, not a drop & I don't lose a drop I can quantify.

I wouldn't sweat any datalogging stuff. Get a $15 Bluetooth OBD2 module off Amazon so you can watch stuff with your phone. The supercharger will come with some tuning module and you can probably datalog with that. I wouldn't go out of my way or spend money (aside from the $15) for more data acquisition until you need it, which with a stock blower and tune you shouldn't ever need. An OBD2 scanner and your phone is extremely powerful and cheap.

Yep. About 1.5 quarts over a 5000 mile oil change interval.

I was down the YouTube hole one night and watched some guy with an accent who works on Toyotas rave about Amsoil stuff. So I just did an Amsoil engine flush and changed to their Signature Series 5w30 to see if any change.

Runs fine. No oil drips or smoking, but some seepage here and there.

Obligatory "We had this one car" story. It was a VW Rabbit, we lovingly called it "The Smokeswagon" (naturally) and it went through a quart a week. It was like a clapped out 2-stroke and would leave a trail of dead mosquitos, we'd just change the filter when it occurred to someone (not sure why, honestly; guilt maybe).

Has anyone had an issue with the HD Gates belt slip? I heard a squeal every once in a while on my drive last weekend. only had about 1200 miles on the belt.

This is the exact can I installed on mine a couple of weeks ago. Need to check to see if its caught anything over the last 5-600 miles. Overall for the price the quality seems more than sufficient for the task.

Gauge is in, stole the passenger side O2 and am having the bung installed on the driver side, the AFR/Boost gauge will get that sensor (figured it made sense to have them on the right side) How do I get it to read the AFR A/F? It's on Lambda, I looked at the manual, don't see anything on switching it.

Long press the left button until a menu appears. You can then scroll through the menu with the left and right buttons. Once you've selected the setting you wish to change, long press the left button again until the display flashes. Then use the left/right buttons to scroll up/down. Once you've selected a setting, long press both buttons to save that setting.

FYI - Along with changing from lambda to AFR, you'll also want to set the fuel type to gasoline.

Not too bad of a result on the cheap Amazon catch can after about 750 miles. Definitely working as intended.

I like how you have it on the driver's side so the hoses are shorter.

Made the most sense to me when looking at the available space in the bay. Plus putting it there meant the included hose was just long enough so no emergency trips to the auto parts store in the wife's minivan :)

Is your bypass valve stuck closed or something? Not that that even makes sense as far as the MAF being pegged.
