Thanks for the help, and yes, I did “want” this setup but it was done by the dealer and modded before I ever laid eyes on it. Since I’ve never had a truck outfitted like this I’m new to the learning curve here. So, appreciate the hepp!

Ahh with that context that makes more sense, so yeah you have nothing to compare to it before because its been that way since you got it....yeah you won't get great mileage with a lift and 35's (you never stated what size you have or if they are E rated tires, but if its dealer installed its probably the cheapest chunky tread they could find). You might get another mile or two per gallon once broken in but don't hold your breath and the speedo being off makes a bit of difference. If your 65mph and under you'll get better mileage too, anything above 65 and the mileage takes a dive.

Well shit those are F rated tires and are 71 lbs a piece (stock mildpeaks are mid 40's) hope your running those around 45 to 55 psi because if not the creates some rolling resistance. D rated tires usually recommend about 10% over stock, so F is probably over that. That will knock some old MPGS off, I personally would explore running a little smaller 34-ish tall tire and decrease that width a bit if you want a mpg or two and a softer ride as well. E rated tires are overkill and F is just ridiculous.

Most 35s nowadays are F rated. They do have some in that size that are D rated, but very few. I have the Falken Wildpeak AT4Ws and they only came in F load for the 35/12.50R18. They are heavy, but the truck rides great, and damn these tires look good.

Seems like they could’ve come up with a 10-speed transmission and accomplished everything they did with the V6

MPG concerns? Clearly a function of the right foot, tires, rolling resistance, head winds, terrain, weight loaded on truck and the list goes on.

Just saying, just came back from vacation. 1000 miles. Four people, bed fully loaded. Running anywhere up to 80MPH but most in the 72-75 MPH range and averaged 18.8MPG.

    No complaints.

PS: AC works great...runs at 38 degrees all day.

These are my favorite threads, 1st started when Ford put an Ecoboost into the F150 in 2011. You can count on them all the time with turbo/hybrid trucks.

I am OCD about research before buying a vehicle and folks that start these threads apparently do none.

    My response every time.

Why does my prius get bad mpg?

People wonder why the 2.5 Gen Tundras get bad MPG with 4.3 gear ratio with the 5.7L

I did loose a few mpgs taking the air dam off. Stock everything except AFE Prodry air filters. Was getting 22.5…now 20.5 ish.
