I feel like moaning about my 24 tundra but as I've read through the forum, I see all my complaints, and there are many, are spoken for... and very common. I don't mean to be negative but I need a place to compare notes. A place to see if I bought the ONLY "friday" built truck. It appears I did not.

But I didn't see one about the volume knob (which fell in to my hand while adjusting the audio).
So let me be the first (unless I missed it somewhere) to say that it happened.

The volume knob broke and as I walked in to the dealer with it in my hand the service advisor laughed and said "put it with the others". Her way of saying I'm not the only one. 3 this month in our town of 35,000. Any one else?

I would love to be on this forum for Tundra enjoyment and hope the truck does me well but so far I've had it 6 months/24,000km and I'm not holding my breath.

Oh ya, I also have significant corrosion on one rim. New one is on the way as I understand.

Mine broke today. I think they let the unpaid intern design it.

Makes sense that there’s upselling going on. The dealerships are trying to procure the OEM ones. They are on backorder, they told me. I ordered one from the dealership, but also bought an aftermarket one.

Probably sold a few at that. 3rd gen guys aren’t really known for being patient value shoppers.
