It's in that spot on your forearm you can't really see. Had the box cutter blade clamped in the vice to cut it down into a small piece to clean out the O-ring grooves and forgot the bottom section was still there and then skimmed the vice grabbing some paper towels  maybe it'll hurt more later, but so far the most painful part was the numbing shots. Nice fatty part of the arm with minimal nerves.

And at least I did the valve body yesterday which involved bathing in atf so hopefully I can finish this dudes truck on time :D

2...4...9... nah... 2pTEN is where it's at!! I keep this stuff in my toolbox and my First Aid kit. Works a treat. The activator burns like a banshee though...

    Seriously, though. Ouch.

It was a fantastic one, though! Mind blowing and hysterical, but absolutely believable. Discussing with your loved ones your chosen day of harvest was one of my favorite parts. In 35 years, 211 days and 11.53 hours, Id like to donate myself.

Any Harrop owners with smaller pulleys...what belt size are you running? After installing the 77.5mm pulley, I'm having issues with the Gates K081177HD slipping, and I can't get the K081153HD onto the pulleys. Any other options out there?

77.5mm + K081177HD with stock tensioner slips and squeals like crazy, but belt stays on the ribs
77.5mm + K081177HD with Harrop tensioner makes clacking sound and belt starts walking off the alt pulley (I did this multiple times, resetting the belt every time)
85mm + K081177HD with stock tensioner works, only slips during shifts

Stock belt size w/o supercharger works with both tensioners, belt stays on, no pulleys out of alignment or strange noises.

What size pulley? That one works great for my stock 85mm, but slips and squeals with the 77.5mm

I still have the original provided belt with the kit on mine with the 77.5, no issues. I keep the gates green fleetrunner in the truck to go on when this one fails.

@armyoffoo are all the rest of your pulleys OEM size? Seems odd unless your stock tensioner is very weak perhaps? I only have 67k on my truck so my tensioner may have more bite depending on your mileage.

Yes, everything else is standard size, 56k miles. I was using the K081177HD belt for a while now, I've got a new one being delivered today. I can run the 85mm pulley and be functional, but I want the boost!!

I’m also running the K081177HD on my 77.5mm with no issues. Going to a 75mm pulley when that comes in from Harrop.

It will be interesting to see if it becomes a restriction on the turbo. I don't think it will but there is always the off chance.

I emailed John at IPT and he's estimating that my transmission should be complete this coming week. :bananadance:He also said that he doesn't mind calls answering our questions, that's what he's there for. So, I'm now lifting my ban (like that was going to stop anyone) on all y'all calling them until they were done building my trans.
