What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Screw it, got tired of looking at silver calipers while installing my new suspension.....

 

Were your 2.5's getting hot or do you just want to change it up for shits and giggles?

 

These rigs weigh a shit ton so bigger is always better. If we had the room we should really be running a 3.0 coilover and 3.5-4.0 bypass upfront

I am from Pinellas County, so most of my beach driving is back home, especially before they ruined, or fixed... depends on what camp you are in; Gandy area. Up here, it is a lot of sand roads and direct water access more than a beach. But I have driven to the water in the Fort Desoto area, a lot too. And then when I cross over to the East coast of Florida, there are more options.

That is the gist of Florida for me with this truck. Outside the state, a lot more.

 

Yeah the Gandy is a mess. Now it has those wooden posts up to keep people out.

 

yup, I hate it. I get why they did it, but I hate it. I still go there and go into the cut outs for activities, but the back up and launch a kayak days are getting harder and harder. They say they plan on removing any entry into those cutouts to let them grow back, we will see!

 

Got it smogged today. First time I've had to do it in the almost 8 years of owning it. Passed with no problems.

Completed install of the M1, with the WSDMetal mounting bracket.

Used a 90° mic cord extension and routed everything through the wire pass-through slot. The mic cord now comes out through a factory opening under the dash/center console, so it doesn't flop around and interfere with multimedia/HVAC controls.
