You also swapped the clockspring and airbag? What parts did you use?

 

Didn't need to swap clock spring. Ordered a steering wheel cover with the cutouts, attached my own bag to it and used cheap Chinesium controls I ordered from AliExpress. I had to add 3 wires to my backside clock spring connector and ran those to an iDatalink steering wheel interface for use with my Kenwood double din. The iDatalink wouldn't work with a couple of aftermarket cheap stereo units that I tried but would work with the wires coming from the clock spring by themselves. I wasn't happy with the sound quality of the cheap units so I went back to my Kenwood and the iDatalink interface. I left the left side buttons as default but I swapped the right hand side buttons to include volume up and down and a play pause button. The buttons can be programmed for dual settings when programming the iDatalink steering wheel controls interface. You just choose your vehicle and stereo and it gives you options for each button. Each button can have press and a press/hold function. I'm used to right hand side controls from my Ford so that's what I tried to replicate in my Tundy.

The airbag cover I grabbed off eBay was from a Sienna minivan, again I just attached my own bag to the cover and added the cheap Chinesium buttons. They even matched my dash with green backlighting.

 

I haven’t investigated cost and time.

Failure to cancel: A couple of prior vehicles, there was a cam* that’s supposed to get kicked over when the steering wheel rotates. Failure to cancel was typically a failure of that can or mechanism for me in the past. I haven’t dug inside the column on these trucks yet, just everything from the clock spring upward.

 

Grapes (Niagara) are going aprshit this year! I’ve already placed about 35 bags on clusters to fend off the birds and squirrels. May or may not work with the squirrels. Have yet to see. First tomatoes of the year too.

Yeah IIRC there's a litle tab on the turn signal switch that is supposed to get clicked back into place by the wheel turning. Pulled the lever/switch previously. It appeared to be working fine so figured the other part that turns under the steering wheel might be at fault. That's the clockspring right? Read once about a mod for the switch to increase the depth of the tab but figured instead for $20 instead probably try to swap the switch for aftermarket part because it's so easy. And if that doesn't work then plan to invest in clockspring and the time to swap.

 

So what is gained with the mod? Only stero controls? Or call answer/cancel if there's a blue tooth mod as well? Seems like cruise is already right there near the wheel.

 

Where’s your trellis to support the grapevine? Do you just let it grow along the ground?

Does anyone else see Instagram posts on mobile? I don't. I'm using S22U with Firefox Beta browser. I can click the link and it doesn't do jack shit.

 

I can see them and play videos inline using Samsung Internet Beta browser so it must be one of my ad blocking settings on Firefox. I used to use Samsung Internet Beta browser exclusively for this site but after a while it keeps locking up my phone. And only on this forum. It's weird.

 

Figured it out. I had Strict Tracking Protection enabled in Firefox. Carry on.

 

I can see it on mine. Google Pixel 7. Chrome browser.

 

I'm using the 4ft picket fence as a support and every few feet, I've got one of those $20 Costco arbors or whatever to let them throw vines up and catch as much sun as possible. Hopefully you can see in this pic, but the little cluster of Cherry Laurel is blocking it. The main vine is as big around as my forearm. I've been growing it for years, but my neighbor had a big ass Holly tree blocked all the sun to it. This year, tons of sun, and tons of clusters.

Yep works fine in Samsung Internet Beta and on Chrome.

 

Unacceptable PSI here to get off the caked on snow.

 

It didn't work well for mud either. But it was better than nothing. The biggest issue was the sprinkler wouldn't stay in place. It kept sliding on the wet concrete and would end up pigeon holed somewhere, not giving good coverage.

 

What you need is a 3000 psi pressure washer feeding a hose with pinholes that point up which you can drive over slowly.

Just threw my hi-ten on the bathroom scale and it came out 30 lbs. Never really tried to make it lighter .... guess thought of it kind of like carrying weights in a pack on purpose. Think the one with the CRMO frame is a little lighter but seems geared differently so workout feels about the same.

 

Can’t even tell it’s tape. Looks mint.

Haven't noticed anyone mention a "parking brake". Dunno if you've got hills there, but heavy stuff don't like to stay where you put it when wheels get involved.
