It's absolutely wild to me to think that when I visited @shifty` that I was headed towards one of the darkest times of my entire life, filled with misadventures, depression, mind-twisting narcissism, lies, cheating, stealing, angry Germans, guns, drinking, gang fighting, trying to jump out of cars somewhere in Washington state, and mental damage I'm still recovering from.

What an absolute mind bending, soul crushing journey from the darkest pits of my very being then, to the highest peaks of life, and my soul now.

Life's busy, ever evolving, but oh so worth it now :proposetoast: (they don't have a heart emoji on the forum)

There's a few here that know, they were going through this with me, I leaned on the forum very very heavily then as it was the only thing that wasn't monitored.

Every thing I did, even down to the way I breathed was scrutinized

I have a lot of love for this place, and I miss you fuckers. You guys, along with my family helped me get through the bad times

I used to feel this way until I test drove the 05 DC. The power difference is noticeable. I now think the pros outweigh the cons on the 05-06. I can live without a transmission dipstick.

    No kids 05-06 AC
    With kids 05-06 DC

    Fight me!

I'm super curious to see how different Frenchy's truck is from mine now that we're running the same gears.

Glad you made it out, brother!

But damn, you make it sound like coming to visit me in the ATL led to one of the darkest times of your entire life, misadventures, depression, mind-twisting narcissism, lies, cheating, stealing, angry Germans, guns, drinking, gang fighting, trying to jump out of cars. I'm not that bad of a dude! Now nobody's gonna want to come visit!!

Same, but I wouldn't dump Ironman. If an 04 4wd v8 DC pops up and I have the scratch, I'd scoop it up.

Thankful for minor obstacles. Forgot it was Father’s Day weekend. Lake is fairly packed but a top 3 spot is wide open. 844FEB2C-5FD1-4F52-B478-128D592A2DFF.jpg
Been cleaning this shoreline for longer than I can remember and it is getting better. Last time I was here the folks were kind enough to put their trash in a bag to make it easier for me to pick up. but this, this fishermen is unacceptable. Just cause you can’t set your bait right doesn’t mean you leave a hook for folks to step on out of frustration as you leave defeated 20AD2089-0218-4874-B340-4DFFB1AF4652.jpgTerrible etiquette!

Oh and Happy Father’s Day to all you magnificent bastards raising the future owners of your trucks.

How’d you piss off the Germans? Tell them the metric system sucks?

Just wait, soon you’ll be going all over your home baby proofing everything once the little guy can crawl.

I can’t check right now but whoever the American company is who made my canopy, they’re legit! Windy day, drove to a better spot without closing the canopy and she held it together.0AA52E25-D0CA-4DD2-ADAC-81170AF14B6F.jpg

I have an IPhone Pro Max and I can’t even find the ISO setting. Intuitive it is not. :annoyed:

My first cybertruck sighting locally. They don’t appear to much bigger than a best gen but I could be wrong.

I saw 3 of them last week. They're even uglier in person for sure. Not sure on measurements but the parked one I saw barely fit in a normal space width wise.

Also off topic but I don't recommend the 19 hour drive from the Miami airport to my house. Miami airport is a disaster this week from thunderstorms so we ended up renting a car and driving back, otherwise we weren't getting home until Sunday.
