The 37’s look so good on these trucks !

I have a Silver Trd limited CM Lb on order and looking for some experience with the Trd lift , Toyo At3 295/70/18 on 9” wheel with +10 offset . I’m combing pages in this thread but yet to hear about rubbing issues. Can anyone help an ole fella out and let me know what I’m in for ? Cheers

You will need to remove the front mud flaps and possibly the support bracket for the felt liners behind the front wheels and pin them back. You should be good with everything else. I ran that size tire on 18x9 +12 with a Westcott 3/1 with no other rubbing issues.

The 37's are the sweet spot for the Tundra in my Opinion. Looks like a beast!!!. Any alteration to make them fit?? And what lift ?

Thanks! Definitely going to need a body mount chop, liner bracket removal and liner trimming. All relatively easy to do.

I was directed to do a body mount chop similar to what Wescott does. I am a little worried if that may interfere with the warranty and or deem the vehicle as a salvage title due to frame altered. IS that chop a piece of the frame or is it part of the body? Thanks.

It’s attached to the frame, so part of the frame. It’s designed to deflect and prevent the front tire from entering the cab in case of a front impact. I’m not 100% sure on warranty issues, but Toyota would have to prove that the part removed caused the failure.

Finally took the plunge and upgraded to 35s. Went with 35x12.5 Toyo AT3 on Method MR316 18x9 +18mm offset. Added a 2” BDS level to make sure I had clearance. No rubbing or cutting needed.

Has anybody switched from an E-rated tire to a softer version in the same size? Specifically I am wondering what the MPG and ride difference is. Would it be a big change going to the 52lb Recon Grappler from a 69 lb Falken? Tire size is 295/70-18. I’d love to hear from someone who has experienced this. Thanks.

Yes, I’ve seen lots of discussion. I’d like to hear first-hand experience. How much better MPG and how much better ride.

Posted this elsewhere without realizing there was a specific thread for this. I think I found my answer just scrolling through here but if anyone has done the below and has feedback, I’d love to hear it. Thanks!

***I just got a 2023 Tundra Limited with the TRD Off-Road package. I am going with a readylift 2” level since the billstein stock TRD OR (red) suspension is good enough for the amount of off-roading i do. New wheels are not in the budget right now, eventually I’ll want 18s, but what is the biggest tire I can get away on the stock wheels (20x8.5” with 50mm offset). Hoping for around 34” diameter if possible with no cutting. Thanks for the help

    I thought you can cram a 295/65R20 for a "35x11.5" equivalent. I have 295/70R18's on mine with a +40mm offset.

    Most 275/65r20 are a 34” tire.
Find a light one not E rated and away you go…

I just purchased a 23 Platinum 4x2. I would like a larger tire. I do not plan to lift or level it anytime soon. What is the largest tire I can go with on the stock 20s, without rubbing?

I am new here, I just want to say that this is a great thread!!IMG20240526185157.jpg

You should be able to go with 34” without an issue. I have a 2” level with 35x12.5 without no issues but I’m running 18x9 +18 which help with some spacing. If you are sticking with the stock wheels you may want to consider an 11.5.

Well I was hoping today would be the day but discount tire had an issue with the tires. Apparently someone slapped a 285/75/17 label on a 315/70/17 tire, so discount got 3 of the correct tire and one wrong tire. So they had to order another and should be all set up Wednesday. For the trouble they gave me a free set of TPMS sensors for the issue that happened so might have the aftermarket ones put in the old wheels and transfer the factory ones to the new wheels. But they did want to check fitment so they put together one wheel and tire so at least I got a visual. Wheels are method 314s, 17” with a +25 offset and tires are 285/75/17 Toyo open country AT3s. Was able to turn the wheel full lock in both directions with no rub and completely stock for the time being. Happy with the result and can’t wait to have all the wheels on Wednesday.

285/65/20 toyo at3's are 34.6x11.5, same as their 35x11.50r20 tire but lighter at 56#. no rub, rides great.

mine has a 1.5" fabtech level.
