My horn and cruise control quit working after having my power steering unit replaced. Also my passenger air bagdash light is on. Looking for where I can get the wiring diagrams for my truck! Bought a haynes repair manual for tundra but their wiring diagrams are hard to follow. Anyone know where I can get diagrams for this truck?

Fifth sentence of this post has links to everything you need and more. Sounds like maybe a clock spring--horn, cruise, and airbag all require that to function. Use the forum search function up above and search for "clock spring" in quotes and that should get you going.

    Sounds like a bad clockspring.

You'll want to buy the OEM replacement. Yes, I know it's fucking expensive. But the experience others have had with nearly every aftermarket clockspring has been piss-poor, and caused more problems than it solved.

    Great minds ^

I've been to this movie, I know how it ends. Buy only the OEM clockspring. Yes, it's expensive...

It took me an hour to change it.

just curious, are you talking about the power steering pump or the steering rack being replaced?

    This is a good question.

If the shop had to remove the steering wheel or do anything that could've over-spun the wheel, they may've damaged the clockspring.

It's also possible they failed to reconnect something, or didn't firmly click in.

I second both of these points.

Thats the reason I was asking having just swapped my steering wheel and steering rack and finding out you could over spin the wheel, and break the clock spring if you didn't get it aligned correctly

they shouldn't have had to go into the steering wheel but if they did, they could've very easily not connected it back correctly

They where just suppose to replace the rack and pinion unit along with the reservoir. I don't think they removed the steering wheel.

If the rack is disconnected, the only thing limiting the steering wheel rotations is the clock spring. They may have turned the wheel too far when the rack was out.

PS - we don’t know what a first generation Tundra extended cab is. Assume you have an AC. Also put the details of your truck in your profile.

All your symptoms are connected to a first gen bad clock spring to the T

I'd almost bet money the shop fucked you over on this one and didn't secure the steering wheel when doing the work, and the wheel over-rotated and tore the clockspring.
