Bleeder, hardlines, and braided hoses ordered. I'll probably just pick up a battery from wallyworld.

I like that host clamp idea. When I bought my truck someone had zip tied mine on. The bolts are broken off on mine. I recently replaced the zip ties with new ones because I wasn't sure how old they were.

How do these bolts break off? Mine are still solid even though they’re rusty. You’d think it’d be a common occurrence here in the salt belt.

^^ Mine broke because they were rusted solid (and I'm not close to the rust belt). Gave them several PB baths and both snapped the second I tried to remove them. Not totally surprising, they're just stubby 10mm or 12mm bolts.

    Never. Haha

Actually A tech did the caliper upgrade back in 2008 to help solve the front end vibration issue which turned out to be a need for road force balancing the front tires down to 20 lbs of runout instead of the default 40 lbs for truck tires. That and the need for a front end alignment after he changed my front end wheels bearings.

Must be why they pulsate. Haha

Original OEM rotors only turned once.

I was going to do the z36 upgrade, but I just sent them back to Summit. Been sitting in boxes for 6+ months, better to have the $$ back I guess :(

Bleeders and hoses will be here tomorrow. Called my dealership to check on the order and they said they had the drivers side hard line in stock. Passenger, the one I need, could be 10-15 business days out. Fuck.

Plenty of time to rebuild your calipers.

Yup, me, Jake, and Dale got the brake lines in. Replaced the hard and soft lines in the front, and the soft line in the rear. Went braided SS for the soft lines. Had to put a little heat on the pass side line, and the drivers side rear bleeder. Got the new bleeders in for the rear. Speed bleeders are pretty neat once you figure out how they work. As @shifty` says, RTFM. Replaced the battery as well. 6 years old with 2 years pushing 1200 watts of amps.

We bled it 2-3 times and I took it around the block. Pedal did not feel good and braking sucked. Bled again. Drove again. Beld again and adjusted the prop valve up. Drove again. Did a final bleed and called it good.

My brakes sucked before, and they're still not good, hence Jake's post above. I'm sure they're out of whack, and full of diff juice. But, Ironman is road worthy, and 2 15s still hit hard as fuck.

Till next time fuckos, bmf out. Here's to the next mangling.
