Question about shifting, so on the biggest cog on the cassette when I back pedal (if I do), the chain comes off, all other gears the chain doesn't come off, it needs adjustment?

Yes, you need to adjust your limit screw so that the derailleur wheels are lined up with your largest cassette gear

This should get you close. Park Tool is a great resource for anything bike wrenching related

Must need a science degree or something lol, I got it shifting all gears high to low, if I back pedal all gears chain won't come off until biggest cog

    What's this screw?

I found the H L screws, I'm assuming this like the barrel adjuster?

That's your B Limit screw. It controls how far the chain wraps around the cassette. Generally that adjustment isn't as sensitive as your H&L Limit screws. If your drivetrain is running smooth now, I'd leave it and ride it and see how it goes

[IMG]Here is mine. Not sure if they make it anymore. 2019 Stumpjumper ST Comp Alloy 29. "ST" for short travel. Slightly less travel than the standard, but perfect for where I ride. Haven't changed much.

So I made my adjustments, all is well, I also kinda messed with the barrel adjuster, and now I hear like a "snapping" sound coming from within the frame when bike is in motion and turn left or right, driving me nuts, like if one of the cables is super tight

I had a bad rear wheel bearing that did that…. Loosen the rear axle a bit and see if it improves. If so, check the bearing.

I would say to try and undo whatever adjustment you made on your barrel adjustment. I would hazard a guess that there’s too much static tension on the cable

Turns out it's the barrel adjuster cable, assuming a bit too tight so I loosened up now I gotta mess with H L screws now and get it back to shifting right

So my used bike I bought came with the OneUp V2 DP, anyone here have issues with the rubber seal coming out loose? Seat goes down fine, air pressure is at 285-95psi, but the seat kinda comes up slow, and with the rubber seal kinda not "seating " right, the DP will pop right up quick, tried using a small pocket size flat head screw driver to "seat" that seal without tearing it, any advice???

Send it in to OneUp for service. From what I hear they have a killer warranty/service department. Actually, maybe check with your local bike shop to see if they can do a quick seal service, shouldn't be a big deal for them. But if they can't then send it to OneUp

So I acquired my dad's truck which is a 2002 nissan frontier crew cab short bed, and it has a crossover single lid tool box, so my bike doesn't fit well in the back, so I bought a used Yakima hitch mount hanger 2 bike rack, I've ordered new straps for it, I've noticed on the highway the wind "pushes" the back wheel and I've almost lost the bike on the highway I've got 4 straps wrapped on the frame and they are snug, I bought the rack cause it has an internal cable lock and the seller had the key, so my bike is a 2023 Spec SJ Evo, so the downtube barely sits on the "saddle" and where the rear shock is mounted, that tube frame doesn't sit too well for the back "saddle" what's a better rack to look at? I'm having to use a heavy duty ratchet strap to secure bike from coming off the rack
