Can you help define "loaded down good"? At baseline it is a heavy girl (air bags, RAS, about 100lbs in the bed, and then the 97lbs/corner wheel/tire setup). Otherwise, nothing really worth mentioning - 5.29s, Grip Pro, mild lift, tri-fold tonneau cover. This will end up being my baseline for all future pulls.

I do suppose I could have tried T/H mode, but wanted to ensure I wasn't playing dirty. I def need to practice launching it, but was curious and wanted to post up original values. The trans hasn't been tuned at all, so there is also room there (based one what I've read from a few of you). I'll take it for now, though. The numbers are just a little bit of fun. More importantly, I towed 80 miles this morning at just shy of 15k lbs - I'll take a 15 second 1/4 mile. lol

    4hi?
    brake boost?

and y'all keep all the disparaging comments about my driving style to yourselves.

Well, sounds about normal. None of us to my knowledge empty the trucks to their bare minimum weight or anything to try and get the best times. We just run them as they sit on a daily basis. Most of my runs included my bed cap, heavy oversized tires, car seats, tools, airbags, AAL, steel bumper and skids, etc. My quickest 0-60 time was actually recorded the day after I ran across a CAT scale at 6,560 lbs.

Negative to all. Best 0-60 run is here. Maybe 1200rpm brake - maybe.

Day 1 of XXXX. I'll drop this in the other channel as well.
Looking forward to seeing what Stage 1.5 brings, then Stage 2. I suspect what everyone really wants to see is an 8-9psi, fully fueled turbocharged run with someone who has some practice. lol I'll get there soon enough.

It is clear those runs above were done in Mexico just be careful posting 0-60 runs outside that thread.

Hey All, we are back, was the In Laws 50th anniversary and all the kids and grandkids flew in from around the country. We are a family business and had 2 guys out for the long weekend for it. Anyway, we'll get everyone responded too and the orders moving ASAP as we get caught up. Thanks a bunch for your patience!

Respect the enforcement. If you do nothing wrong, they have no reason to stop you. :)

What you care about (I assume) is the bottom line. Setup for towing, near stock times. Note I am saying times, not performance. Performance at Stage 1 it has exceeded my expectations.

For the rest, Jesse and I spoke today after he reviewed my 80 miles of towing logs. As part of it, we discussed fueling. Towing (below 4500rpm) I'm no higher than 60% on the injector Duty Cycles. The catch... built in safety nets everywhere and the tune drops boost in the 5k+ rpm, so Dragy times will be better in Stage 2 (or if I ask or someone else asked for less safety due to less towing). I wasn't aware of this third layer of safety we have. The price we pay for ignoring water/meth and ask for full fuel only safety as a second layer. Damn you SC crowd. DAMN YOU!!! :)

Yeah we have programmed in some boost cuts based on fuel, etc within the SCG1, as well as some torque / ethrottle reductions above 5200 on Brians truck for safety. He and our goal from Day 1 was safety for his towing / camping season with the family and we like to err on the side of caution. As we move through the different versions of the kits and he and we are more comfortable with what we are seeing in the logs, etc during the long tows, we can definitely uncork some more POWAH!

The only remaining item associated to the lift kit install is a replacement of a damaged bolt on the sway bar link. Not a big deal. I have to wait for the ordered bolt to arrive, but this is not critical for the Turbo kit. Finally, today I started to focus on the Turbo kit install after cleaning and organizing my garage. It was messy after the lift kit install.

It's official now, I started today. I opened the cross pipe box and spent sometime figuring out how to modify it. I was impressed! It really looks like a masterpiece. Unfortunately I have to modify it to fit my Tundra which has a 6 inch lift kit. This is something I already knew before so I'm fine with it and super excited. We'll see how it turns out.

I will be working on this after work anytime possible on a daily basis. There are a lot stuff here so here are my next action items for the next 2 or 3 days.

    • Open the remaining box in order to familiarize with all parts.
    • Send the factory map to Jesse.
    • Make an assessment for anything else required in preparation for the full install.
    • Visit a local Dyno to have the stock performance for comparison purposes.
    • Get stock logs for later references.
    • Start the cross pipe mod including upgrading to the 6” flex section

I will be taking videos about the whole process and will do my best to edit and post videos by phase. Of course I will be posting pictures and updates here as well :).

And of course some photos taken today....

Nice! And I feel you on the garage. I don't know that mine has fully recovered yet.

I'll be curious to see how much modification is really required of the crossover pipe. That one photo with the new cross member doesn't look like it changes the location forward or back, but I'm just trying to compare against the front driveshaft location. I can see downpipe.#2 being more of a problem, potentially, but that is a far easier pipe to rework. Good luck and looking forward to following along. 80-90% of the project is 10mm and 12mm. Mark those for easy identification. Lol

Looks like is not much mod required :fingerscrossed:. As you said no forward or back changes. Is just mater to drop the driver side like 2 or 3 inches maybe. Let's see. But for sure I am not going to touch the right or passenger side section of the cross pipe because that will required the rest of the pipes to be modified as well. I will mark those 10/12 mm Thanks! Let's see what happens now on! :)

Yes, looking at the pictures, the passenger side will hard mount and locate the uppipe to the turbo and downpipe. So don't adjust it there, as it will throw off the rest of the piping. Hard mount that side and connect the uppipe and turbine housing, then cut and drop the driver side, come over 90*, straight shot to the passenger side section and then up to the merge. That way you're only really modifying the single piping section and not having to mess with the merge.
