What have you done to your 1st gen Tundra today?

I just realized this is for an 8" diff axle. Hopefully that fits our 8.4".
Obviously the ring gear is a different size, but the axle shaft housings might be the same. Not sure.

 

It's states on the site will work for 00-06 Tundra. So hopefully they're not BSing us

 

Weird they don't mention the first gen Tacomas. I'm almost certain it's all the same

Should be, since the FGT and FGTaco AALs are identical.

 

Twas a guess, a shot in the dark if you will. If the axle housing is the same diameter and the springs are the same it should work then

I wish I could find those black housing 05-06 headlights for an AC. Seems they only make em for DC and 00-04 style for AC. But I specifically want 05-06 style for those marker lights. But they don't make em in black for that application.

Add it to my list of lighting related grievances for these trucks. Seems that Depo has stopped making the candy cane tail lights too.

Pulled the bulbs back out, adjusted the set screw, got the center line to match up

 

I have two options:

1. Go to store. Buy cat litter. Put cat litter in cans. Wait for harden. Throw in the garbage, and feel like an asshole the shit's gonna rot in the ground for my kids and future generations to deal with.
2. Drive same distance as the store to go to CHARM, the intown Atlanta recycle center. Hand them the cans for free, if under 10lb or something. They recycle the paint responsibly, then recycle the steel cans. My pocket is lighter, I wasted less time, and I don't have to worry about finding them at my any of my favorite local fishing holes.

I think I made the right choice. Most modern cities have programs like this. It's an internet search away.
