So I will be replacing the radiator on my truck due to it having a slow leak. Mechanic and I both saw dried coolant near bottom of radiator. I will also be replacing thermostat, fan clutch, upper and lower radiator hoses. The thing that’s a little confusing to me is the part description for the thermostat. The only thermostat I see that would fit is “16031-0S010” which is the pn for the thermostat. However it has “without tow package” in the description but it does fit tundra, sequoia, land cruiser 5.7L/4.6L. My truck has the tow package and I can’t seem to find a different part number that has “with tow package”. Is the thermostat the same for tundras with tow package?

Seems there is a cast housing or water inlet that is different depending if tow package or not.

The thermostat part number that you show appears to be the same for all trucks. I am getting this from ToyoDIY.com. Your part number is the newest version of the old part number 16031-38010, which is still shown on ToyoDIY.

Another point of reference: AISIN THT005 on Rockauto.com, which could very well be identical to the Toyota part, does not specify tow package or not in its listing.

Thanks! I really like that ToyoDIY website. It helps a lot.

While everything is apart, also the check the belt idlers and tensioners. I ended up replacing both of mine while it was apart for the waterpump.
