not long travel just longer travel lol.

Removed the spare tire cradle and driver side upper shock mount which the LSPV is mounted to. Made a new mount for the LSPV. This setup is VERY similar to the archive garage rear setup. Only reason I opted to do this is I already had the shocks. If I didn’t I would have left it alone until I went spring under. Added bonus it’s all under the bed.

Rear LT requires spring under Deavers, ~16” triple bypass shocks, shackles, shackle hangers, bed cage, bump stop cans mounts and strike pads, u bolt flip kit I’m presuming, and probably a few more small things. Not to mention 10x the cost of what I just spent (not including shocks).

Yeah that intake tube is the v8
the front bumper brace is pushed in and up on the drivers side
not sure how straight the frame actually is, probably needs to go on a frame machine and get measured out before i would trust it. Its a LOT of work to swap frames and swapping in a bent frame could / would be a heck of a lot more work than its worth. Replacing a badly rotted out frame is likely an awful job, cutting out body mount bolts whose heads are round, picking up bed and cab whose rigidity is questionable, swapping over SO many driveline parts, axles, front end, suspension, and all of the broken bolts, rusted parts you gotta deal with. I can only imagine its a 40+ hour job having a lift and the shop space to do it properly, the 40+ hours is very open ended to having to order additional parts and play wait while you wait on those parts to come in to replace the stuff you broke, cut out, and mauled trying to get it apart since everything is rusted and oxidized together.
boy what a heck of a nightmare.

I’m guessing that frame is done by the way the reinforcement is bent back a little too much.

I bet that's your issue. You'll need to tweak the prop valve to match your new setup. Pretty confident you can fix this and get the brakes back to your standard.

You have to be pretty experienced to do it right and it’s never 100% the same.

Lot's of fun suggestions, but this is close to the neighbors truck & close to my garage. My plan for this one is to dig/shovel it out. Better health through hard labor.
I do have 2 backup stumps that may be good candidates for fire or rapid expansion. Would a rapid expansion event with shock wave accompaniment cause the chickens to stop laying for a day or three? Bonus points to anything that ups my arsehole neighbor rating. I'm currently running in 12th place in a grouping of 3 - I really need to up my arsehole game.

So I had this sitting in the garage and never did it so figured it was a good time to try. I can definitely feel the brake bias in rear so I should have done this a while ago, but still have that 50% squish before real good engagement. Probably bleed it again and hope it fixes it.

    Weight reduction, mostly rust.
A couple tires over the stump filled with diesel :bananadead: That should get you close to the top of that list.
New neighbor decided to burn the abandoned fake Christmas tree left behind by the PO during the eclipse... ushered to the top of my shit list.

My father who’s been fixing them since 1970. He retired back in 2010. I can’t comment on the modern computerized systems. He’s used to the old analog way. Most shops would give him all the work since he knew what he was doing, He didn’t like it himself because he had to wait 2-3 weeks for a large payday on a big job.

I know your door handle policy, but I couldn't resist.

your money is no good here, ironman wheels on me if I can make a deal. I sent the guy a message and I'm waiting for a response. I'll try and take a look at it in the next few days.

*assuming it has all four wheels, but the rear axle is missing so that's not a good sign*

Pull it from the back? Also, are there screws under the map lights that need to be removed?

You could always try moving by the nuts up or use a basic bracket from a hardware store to lift the entire assembly 1-2 inches.

I don't recall any map light screws.
I just know mine came out pretty easily with a tug

Looks like I have to pull it from the front instead of the back. No screwholes other than the two in the sunglasses holder as you said.
