it absolutely made mine worse. I installed them. Drove about 5 miles. Immediately removed them. after removal it went back to the way it was prior, but has since gotten worse with the flutter/door vibration that was not there during the first 10,000 miles.

So not a Tundra owner just yet just researching but not sure if anyone would want to try this on their Tundra or not for the seal/wind issue. My friend/co-worker on his Ford's used to remove the door seal rubber and he would take a wire snake thing and feed through center of door seal and then lube up scuba 1/4 or 3/8 inch tubing and pull it through weather seal. Reinstall seal and this update made the door fit snugger when shutting and made cab a lot quieter. Not sure it would work on a new Tundra but might be worth a try until Toyota comes up with a fix. The scuba tubing is probably about the size of the tub the OP posted.

The 3/8 foam weatherstripping filler does not work, it is too fragile and tears in half. I ended up using 1/4" and 3/8" nylon rope through the weatherstripping on the cab to fix the rattle noise. I tried 1/2" I still get a little wind noise. It seems like they are using 1/4" gap filling weatherstripping to fill a 1/2" gap.
I tried ordering the above part number for the door weatherstripping hoping to receive the weatherstripping from the video. I received the same light weight weatherstripping I already had.
I hope they come out with a TSB for this. My dealer is completely hopeless with troubleshooting anything without a TSB.
Very disappointing for a 60k truck.

Is this still an issue on the 2024? I hear a little whistle but nothing to be alarmed about.

That’s the vertical hard rubber that goes between the door and front fender?

TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
I can confirm that the seal swap out works! As for mirror noise my drivers side mirror actually rattled and it was completely swapped out with the seals all covered under warranty. The door seals are a complete swap out of inner and outer door seals. TRD Jon has the seals part numbers in his video. Heads up the seals aren’t cheap. Charged my dealership like a grand and my drivers side mirror was $1,500. But it solved my rattle, window ticking.

My local dealer and corporate got tired of dealing with it. The issue I’ve seen to find is when you go on a road test with the techs they all say they don’t hear it cause their hearing isn’t all there cause of the air tool….. but I hear it clear as day. I’m just gonna wait a bit and replace the seals myself. Seems like the sequoia seals have the same part number so I’m gonna use those and report back my findings

I have an 23; Oct 22 build. The only time there is excessive noise is when it's windy out. Get some minor whistling during gusts around the windows. Acceptable to me as all cars get this under same conditions.

Had my drive side seal replaced yesterday at the dealership. Had whistling sound above 45. They said the old seal was worn for some reason. Drove home with no whistling. Seems that the new seal has worked for me.

I have a 2024 Platinum with annoying wind noise above 60 mph coming from my driver side window mirror area.

no rattling on door just a high pitch whistle from the wind and if I collapse the mirrors it diminishes somewhat but is still heard.

So, ironically I’ve noticed this on my 24 I just picked up a week ago, although it only happens when you go over bumps. It’s not as bad as Jon’s, but still noticeable over every bump. Odds they’ll fix it? Ironically having the same issue with my wife’s 24 Atlas…
