Thought I’d share this post I saw on FB. Good numbers here I thought given a roller dyno, especially given the stock intake box. Maybe I should put it in the dyno thread. Hell even the base stage 1 is putting down some good numbers for just 6-7psi.

Edit: look at that torque curve too. That is amazing. It’s like there is no peak to it, just straight gobs of torque all the way across the range.

I was wondering - and again, some ignorance here, but the 2019 + tundra's had the cooler removed and the engine temps started running way higher than the previous 2019 trucks. So setrab's were an option to get the cooler running temps again. I am wondering if the setrab helps negate some of that heat sink thereby eliminating (in your case) the heat sink that causes the extended crank. A theory...and another hail mary. I have no idea how the setrab affects ambient temps AFTER the engine is off, but another rabbit to the mix.

Whatever this forum told me to do
i don't think so....my water temp is generally ~194 degrees.

which is probably what everyone's is.

Thanks Sniv. I had the injectors tested prior to install - so didn't feel there were the problem...but maybe they are.

@Wynnded went through the same thing. Injectors were tested, I think Five-O may have even sent him brand new injectors, same issue even though the manufacturer said they were flawless. But his TRD Green and Prospeed injectors didn't have any issues. It's almost like some trucks just don't play nice with a specific brand for whatever reason. Would be interesting to buy new DW650s and see if they changed anything, though that seems kind of insane to try the exact same brand.

I have 5-0 650 injectors and no crank issue anymore, they are running higher at 50lbs though (after all that fuel pump fiddling last year)

Curious to know more about the fuel pump 'fiddling'...more pressure worked? Or more volume?...or both...

I think so, I'd have to look in the shop to find them but if I do you're welcome to have them for free. I know there's a handful of other people on here with the greens laying around too.

Some of us have the fuel pump hot wired so it gets a full 14+vdc and bypasses the fuel pump controller. It primes at key on and not at start. Some are running an adjustable fuel pump regulator instead of factory, either standard 43psi(or more) or boost referenced to 50-60psi.

I'm running a tvs1900, walbro450 hot wired, 6an supply return fuel lines, DW AFPR set at 43psi and boost reference to about 58psi, with fiveO Denso 750 injectors. I'll get an occasional extended start after it's warmed up. Although my fuel pump comes on in Acc posn I find a quick straight to on it starts right up. If I let it prime or wait a sec before starting I'll get an extended start.
Five-O says tune but @snivilous tune is golden. I live with it...

I have a set of 5-O 750s that I'd send out to anyone who's a big enough glutton for punishment to change out to see if they work in their truck. These being the second set that were sent to me. Technically I don't even think I put miles on them, I merely ran the vehicle while in the shop. As soon as the engine was up to temp and I got the long cranks, I said fuck it and immediately changed back to the Prospeeds that were working fine.

Hmm. Maybe to just test to see if it happens on my engine. So I can get back in contact with Five-O. Would send them back after testing. It's good to have spare parts...

I always felt my extended crank (which has been greatly remedied with tune adjustments) was due to too much fuel at start, not too little. I thought I could smell gas when experiencing the extended crank. I think opening the throttle helps the situation as it helps dry out the cylinders and provide more air for starting, not more fuel. I could be wrong though!

I had a new bought from Walbro bad 450, then I kept having the hose between the pump & basket come off, and I had FPR issues. Can't say which resolved the weird start but all that together did.

Dreaded P0101 has came back, and now more consistently. Changed to the AFE and cleaned the sensor a few weeks back but no cigar. Have had bouncing idle, odd changing fuel trims and power enrichment A/F's. Threw in a new OEM MAF sensor hoping the old one was on its way out with the old oiled filter. A few of the elements look bent compared to new also, have 75k on it.:fingerscrossed:

Swapped them and let it idle. Idle bounce was gone and trims shifted -6 at most in low airflow volts, it was a mix of neg/pos trims. Also truck rpms would jump good 2/300 rpm when activating A/C. That's also stopped. I'll see how it reacts to some pulls, if wonky throttle relearn will be my next step.
